Hi

I had my surgery in the UK. I did loads of research and one name kept coming up - David Ralph at UCLH.

After two years with an AMS LGX700 implant I could not be happier.

Hi Dave,

Did you go private or on the NHs, Did Dr Ralph do the surgery or one of this team. Also did you get a say in which implant you got, or was its the surgeons choice?

I had a Nesbit do to a curve in my penis, under his team on the NHS two years ago and wasn't happy with the care or the outcome. But the poor care was because I'm guessing, I had it done on the NHS. When I woke up form the op the surgeon had gone home (it was a Friday) I was sent home on the saturday with no info on how the op had gone or what to expect going forward.

I had the surgery redone earlier this year because the curve had came back, paid for privately, much better experience care wise this time. But due to two operation's, the loss of size has me feeling very low. Also lost girth due to the second operation, the surgeon had to remove scar tissue from the first op. My ED has not improved, if I could go back would of just had the implant the first time.

But I don't won't to loss anymore size, so may try Sclerotherapy next when/if finances allow. Just dont know if it will help as ive had two duplex sonography scans which has shown good results, think my ED is more due to the scaring stopping good blood flow to the top of my penis.
As even on PDE5 I suffer from soft glands and I loss erections quickly when I stand up with out simulation.

Thanks for any feedback

Hi

I had my implant surgery done on the nhs. I live down on the south coast but I was given the option of choosing who I felt was the best surgeon for me. I also had the choice of implant and was offered a couple of different AMS implants and the Titan. I chose the AMS LGX 700 because it felt more natural deflated and because I wanted expansion in length and girth.

From using Caverject injections I had developed a bit of a curve but that has gone since having the implant.
