It will be six days tomorrow morning. Soaking in tub feels good and no pain in penis or incision. However I now have serious pain in and around left testicle. Getting in or out of car to go to Target today was excruciating and standing it aches really bad. I spoke to surgeon yesterday and he said within two weeks this should pass just take pain med and ice it for 20 minutes several times a day. Swelling is not the problem - in the bath I can even find the pump.
Has anyone found the best thing to sit on for scrotal pain? I bought a couple of foam pads one 2" thick the other 3" at JoAnn Fabrics. They help but do nothing for sitting up in bed or getting in and out of car. How about a donut shaped pad?

Re: testicle pain
Yes many members of Franktalk have used a donut pillow while healing.
Re: testicle pain
Yes, that donut helps tremendously - got mine on Amazon.
I'm 75 and got an AMS Ultrex in 1995. Had it replaced in 1999. Got a new AMS 700 LGX in 2013.

Walgreens has them too....the round inflatable rubber ring. I had some testicle pain for months....after the initial pain died down I got occasional "stabbing" pains.....like someone stabbed my balls with a needle. I thought of these as nerves "re-connecting". They eventually went away too. At 16 months post (second) implant - all is well and my "little fucker" works great!!!!

Re: testicle pain
Most docs do not recommend soaking in bathwater so soon after surgery. Your incision needs longer to heal before it is sealed against possible infection. I would listen to your doc regarding testicle pain. At 6 days post op just about everyone has some testicle pain. It isn't a minor operation and full healing can take a while. I had my surgery in the middle of May and there are still a few minor twinges here and there.

Funny you should mention the stabbing pains. Sunday night for the first time the pain subsided and I was even able to sleep on my side. I had only taken ibupofin at bedtime. But I have had several of those stabbing pains you mention in the last couple days. They don't last but they send a message! It is good to know they apparently are not something g I need to worry about.

Re: testicle pain
I had my two week check with doc yesterday. Everything looking good and the pain is very minimal except when trying to deflate. Doctor tried to fully deflate but with amount of swelling in my scrotum it was too painful and he left well enough alone. I am probably 20% inflated which makes the rods quite noticeable when I try to aim penis to pass urine into toilet. It is not painful however. I am pleased with where things are 16 days out - just some dull pain in left testicle that is not too bad now.
