Many thanks to d_gmoore, billb603, DonBecker54, Leek65, Pockie and dirtman1993 who responded to my Aug 22 request for advice. Subsequent to that, I went for a second/third opinion on whether I had exhausted all ED remedies short of an implant. He suggested I try Stendra in conjunction with daily VED pumping, 5 mg of cialis and 0.10 trimix. Results were about the same as with 20mg cialis or 100 mg viagra.
He said if I was not happy with my sex life with the combination therapies, my only remaining alternative was the implant. That decided it for me, I called him this morning and told him to start the pre-op procedure and get me on the schedule.
Based on the advice I've received from you guys and the MD's advice, I am very comfortable with the decision.
I'll keep you posted on progress, pre op and post op status.

Dave, 80, Maryland - Implant (Titan) 2008 by Dr. Andrew Kramer (failed Sept 2020) - never used due to a stroke that, among other things, ended my sex life.
