Got an Coloplast Titan Zero Degrees eight days ago: question
Re: Got an Coloplast Titan Zero Degrees eight days ago: question
For the person asking the zero degree question, it refers to how the tubing exits the implant. Hopefully your doctor has a example of the implant and pump he can show you. The "button" is more of a membrane over a slight bump on my Titan which I got in June. I am just now getting proficient at inflating and deflating. The valve is above the ball of the pump. It sits in a cylinder that is perpendicular to the tubing. I find using my left hand and placing my index finger on one end of the cylinder and my thumb on the "button" and squeezing works best. Or maybe it's the other way round. The it's not like pressing a key on your keyboard, the button only depresses a tiny distance. I find inflation can be done with either hand but being right handed I use my right. I got my implant on June 2, 2015. At day four I was ready to have it ripped out. That would have been a big mistake. Hang in there, it gets better.

Two days ago I almost didn't feel any pain but now it's back. Well, with IbuI I can handle it.
One thing I really dislike: the pump still sticks to the scrotum! Whenever I'm having a hot bath I'm trying to pull it away, but no success so far Any remarks/recommendations?

It's now end of week 8 and almost zero pain. Sex is great but still the Titan I really dislike. There is no way that I can deflate completely, I always have sort of a small erection. Would love to have an ASM. The Titan seems to inflate by itself, in my opinion this brand is a misconstruction. Everybody has his own opinion of course. Driving long distances is now very stressful.

Re: Got an Coloplast Titan Zero Degrees eight days ago: question
Hi;
My implant was done 3 months ago and 1 week ago while having intercourse the head of my penis bent and it started to hurt, it was my first experience with bending. Since then it hurts, it feels like "UTI" and since I have prostatitis I get infections very easy, I do not have the other symptoms of a "UTI" but only the pain sat the tip.
It appears to be the urethra. I do not have bleeding just some pain when urinating and some discomfort some times.
I have been taking Pyridium for the pain.
Has anyone experienced pain when bending and does anyone knows about the urethra?
Thank you
Mario

Re: Got an Coloplast Titan Zero Degrees eight days ago: question
Could be just some internal irritation from bending the cylinders or could be some trauma to the urethra. Tips can erode into the urethra but with a pinch and bend like that if you continue to have burning you should call your implant doc who will likely want to take a look. Hopefully just a pinch and rearranging scar tissue but the burning with urination bothers me. I wouldn't just keep taking Pyridium if hurts when you don't take it as a small tear or irritation should go away in a couple of days or so. Just my two cents. Hope things fix themselves.

I had many of the same issues with my Titan early on. I got better at deflating and the "re-inflation" issue went away as well. Time, time, time..... And meanwhile, enjoy some great sex.....))))
Panhead... The Titan I have now has the low profile bar and a smaller pump. Dr Perito said this fit me much better than the larger piece Dr (incompetent) put in one year earlier.....

Thsnk you all for your suggestions,
This site is a great help, most doctor's don't take the time to explain or to suggest, most just want to do the surgery and asking questions is challenging.
Thanks
Mario
