Five weeks out

Postby Leek65 » Tue Oct 20, 2015 12:04 pm

I am five weeks post surgery and don't see my doctor for first full inflation until 11/9. I am a little concerned about how my left testicle is reacting to sharing the scrotum with that bulb and tubing. In normal activity I barely notice it (except I can definitely feel the rods in my penis at the urinal) but things like getting in and out of the car or bending down to pick something off the floor I do often feel brief sharp pain from the pump rubbing up against the testicle. Can someone who is further out from surgery enlighten me as to whether this will likely go away or just a price I pay for the benefits? I did go bike riding with the grandkids last week and will definitely be looking for a bike seat without the horn.

A lot of these types of issues resolve themselves in time. You can help it along somewhat by taking warm baths and trying to get the pump to be in the best position.

Nine weeks out, did not have the type of pain you described, but to answer your question most of my occasional pain was gone by week six. However I was sore up and down the shaft until about the seven week.
NOTE: I am following the VED Protocol Therapy where you cycle for sixty minutes a day at max. You are constantly breaking up the scar tissue. This is what I believe the soreness came from. Most of the discomfort, from being at max, i.e., pump bulb flat, is greatly lessened. Sometimes no discomfort, it is the same as partially inflated, but sometimes it is like the first couple of times you did it  .

Every couple of days I remember I would get a sharp pain from my base to glans. This seems to be lessening, i.e., can't think of it happening in the pass couple of days. As in the commercial, Your results may vary!

One of my balls, on the same side as the pump/tubing, seems to have disappeared, more like hidden :D .

I somehow, pre-op discussions, missed that I could not use a regular bike seat after the IPP. Have bought a NOSE-LESS one from Amazon, have not installed it yet. However I exercise four to five times a week with on a recumbunt (sp?) bike with no problem. Straight-up underwear and/or jockey strap will keep me elevated enough as not to bang the equipment while doing floor exercises.
