I've tried looking around the internet as much as possible and tried searching these forums. I'll find the odd brief mention of ways to improve size but not really any facts, medical literature, or even consensus on what is good.
I have a surgery booked for November 6th.
Some things I've seen mentioned are that it is important to cycle early on. Quicker cycling leaves less time for atrophy? Is that the idea or am I misunderstanding?
Also I've seen a couple people mention that they pumped up the pump to the max, then proceeded to wrap their unit in a warm compress to make things more flexible. At that point they were able to get a couple more pumps in to exert forces to increase girth. Apparently they did this every 5 minutes and stayed erect for over an hour at a time with this gaining over an inch in girth.
Does the above sound like something legit? I can kind of see the sense behind it but have no idea if these are important, plausible or what to expect really.
Any tips for maximizing size after surgery?
Re: Any tips for maximizing size after surgery?
Well, pardner, I think you're looking at the first few weeks a bit too anxiously. I didn't pump up until the third week, and many others wait 5-6 weeks. If you find any tips, I'm all ears. Not happy, personally. Wound up losing almost 1 1/2". Also lost girth size. If I had it to do over again, and had a week left, I'd do even more research, and find the Dr who has the fewest complaints about size, and which ones have the best reviews. My Dr said if I lost anything, it would be very minimal. Right. The exercises, pumps, and pills is to hopefully lengthen you some before the surg. And those formulations do work, but really slowly. Don't know your situation, but if I were under 50, even 60, I would dedicate my self to the protocol. I would not suggest that you cancel your procedure, as long as you're using a high volume Dr. If you're using your typical urologist, myself, I'd at least do a little more research, maybe reevaluate things. Your Dr should, in my opinion, have had at least 3-400 procedures under his belt. Without that experience, they're too cautious, and frequently undersize the job. But nothing is certain. My guy is #1 in the country, but my result doesn't reflect that. I'm probably the exception to the rule, tho, and your chances of being "rebuilt" are probably very good.
Oh, I got sidetracked. I do believe the pumps, pills, etc, would have worked for me. For 3mo I did the program, and what I got was measurable, 1/4", so extrapolate that out to a yr, and theoretically, I could have an inch more. Best of luck.

Re: Any tips for maximizing size after surgery?
The most important factor is having a great surgeon. Ask if you will lose any size. A skilled surgeon should be able to size you exactly at your pre surgery flaccid full stretched length. The exception would be scarring and or peyronies from which size loss is somewhat inevitable. Every surgeon has different post surgery protocol. Some let you cycle after a week, some might be months. Once you get the green light to cycle, twice a day max pumping is usually recommended. You can use a sock filled with dry rice and microwave it. Put a towel on your penis and wrap the sock around it. Also ibuprofen helps as well. Warm baths are awesome too. All of these can help you get through some of the pain of pumping, so you can be max pumped longer. Bottom line is, if the surgeon uses the correct size implant, you should be able to maximize your size. If an implant is sized too small, and or the surgery inflicts extra trauma down there, you could lose size.

hendrix, if you find anything that actually works I would greatly appreciate sharing the information. I was implanted in July and have lost 2 inches, basically making intercourse impossible. I was 5 1/2 and now and 3 1/2 fully inflated. I have been cycling twice daily for an hour, every 15 minutes I'll try and squeeze a little bit more into the cylinders.
In my honest opinion I would not recommend this procedure to anyone with less than 6 inch penis.

Sorry to hear that. Regarding inflated size, we are in the same boat lengthwise except it is working for my wife and I. Please, I am not trying to be insulting or too personal, or too graphic, but this is Franktalk. The cowgirl position is the best because gravity works in your favor pulling any pubic fat pad you might have (I do) down exposing more of the shaft. It also works in the standard old missionary position if the woman's pelvis is at the right angle. This needs a little experimentation but you'll get it. I understand your loss in length would cause a lot of disappointment, but if your partner is open to just a little experimentation and your attitude is positive, I am sure you will come up with something that works for you both. Don't give up.
Re: Any tips for maximizing size after surgery?
PCHelp: how long have you been cycling for? Do you experience any pain in the glans area when fully inflated? Based on the size of implant you have, you probably have length to regain in time.

Watsup, is that the same as doggie style? We have tried missionary, doggie, and her on top. What is happening is the penis is so short that any type of movements we loose contact, this is getting to be as frustrating as loosing the erection as before. Watsup, may I ask what length you have post-op and what you were pre-op?

ED2013, I was activated Oct 1st, I used to have some pain but that is lessing each time I inflate. I inflate twice daily for an hour each time. I will wait about 10 to 15 minutes and then try to inflate a little more. With this Titian, the pump simply stops when the cylinders are full.

PCHelp: Sorry to hear about your loss. I would like to know what Doctor did your implant and where he is located so myself and others can stay away!

Sugarcane, I will send his name to you in an IM. Don't misunderstand, the Urologist did a perfect job, there are zero complications. Where the misunderstanding is lies with understanding the biology of the penis. These implants go inside the corpus of the penis, all men will be limited to their post implant sized based on their respective corpus size. I attached this image to help.
