must be the tube from the reservoir is getting kinked if changing the position lets it fill. We've all heard stories of that happening; seems like more often with infrapubic placement for some reason. One reason why I questioned Dr. Milam's insistence on infrapubic. d

No the pump bulb refills fine. 99.99% sure it's not kinking. I've had the same issue with scrotally installed implants, this one just seems a little more finicky. I've had multiple scrotally installed implants and multiple infrapubic implants. I very much prefer the infrapubic procedure.

Hard drive, could you detail what leads you to favor Infra Pubic so strongly? And were they performed by different docs I assume?

Very little pain comparatively.

Near ZERO swelling of testicles, and no bruises for me.

Lower chance of infection.

Very fast healing.

Cylinder fill tube connections closer to or behind pubic bone upper crest.

Less scar tissue (internally and externally) for me.

Keep in mind that everyone's anatomy is different so some things I listed may be different for you.

Actually I've had many implants. I've done that all along. Strangely, my pump hasn't went flat since posting. I think my torso position affects this. I'm overweight and I think that it puts pressure on the reservoir and tubes if sitting up. Laying flat, or standing during inflation eliminates the bulb going flat (or so it seems for now).

I've always squeezed the cylinders flat after deflation. This fills the reservoir and prevents the body cavity around the reservoir from shrinking and pressurizing it (preventing it from accepting all of the cylinder return fluid, and causing a partially inflated implant).

I didn't lose any at first (3 implants), but I did afterwards (2+") when the implant was removed and I had to go for an extended period of time (twice) without anything. Scaring and atrophy set in and it felt hopeless to me at that point. However I was persistent and kept trying and now all seems well so far (albeit shorter/skinnier). A working smaller penis is better than a broken larger penis any day.

Okay, so I'm on my second AMS 700 (first was the CX, this one is the LGX) with the MS pump and I'd like a little information from some long time users.

My pump tends to stop applying additional pressure to the cylinders at a certain point (very inflated) and then the bulb will easily compress all the way without adding more fluid. I did have this in my last device but it failed and I attributed this characteristic to the failing device. Since the new device behaves the same way, now I'm wondering if this is just how it works. None of the Titan pumps behaved like this.

Are other people finding that once the cylinders are full/tight that you can also compress the pump bulb all the way without addiitional fluid movement? I mean, is there a point where the pump simply bypasses and no extra psi is created?

I know my question is very clear, so please feel free to shoot me some questions so that I can clarify my point.

Good to hear that your pump is working again based of your followup posts to this one. I cant imagine having to go through all you have had to with multiple replacements. And how nerve wracking it must be when you have any potential issues at this point. Again glad to hear you are doing well now. Thanks for sharing as unforyunately for you but fortunately for us you have become one of the experts.

When Dr. Kramer did mine we discussed infrapubic vs scrotal- the big thing that resonated with me was that with scrotal (which he did for me) the pump is certain to be where he wants it, you're less likely to run into pump issues. I've been 100% pleased and have had no pump issues, but I seem to run into people all the time who had infrapubic approaches and the pump is screwed up. It came up as an issue for me, and Dr. Kramer and I probably talked about it for over an hour. Just wanted to share-
