Your response is out of line. Perhaps you are confusing me with someone else. Either way, I don't find name calling to be productive on this board. I have never called you--or any member--outside of your name and expect the same respect. You posted a link to an article but did not provide any context, so I asked what point YOU were trying to make. Regarding your speculation about me personally...It has nothing to do with...well, anything. Please feel free to answer my inquiry. Why is the information in this 24-page article worthy of consideration here? In your opinion, why is this article "interesting"?

I can only assume you did not read it. Probably why many times over the last year you reply,"And your point is? ".
It is an interveiw about implants and the different way they do surgery and why with Dr. Kramer and Dr. Perito. The moderator is also a doctor. d

I actually thought the article was quite interesting. It seems many folks who are considering an implant try and read as much as they can about the procdure, problems, etc, I know I did and many come here to this forum for information. I already have my implant, but have started reading the article anyway and sure would have liked to come across something like this during my exploratory phase.

If I read this correctly, this study was conducted in 2003? I would think implants have made great advances in the last 12 years

alibaba posted several articles. The one in this thread is a transcript of a video panel discussion with Eid, Perito and the moderator a Dr. Goldstein. and is dated 2007.

I am also going to post a link to a very interesting article on the development of penile prosthesis. You may be surprised to learn that most of the "modern" advances are really a number of years old now. For example the lock out mechanism was introduced in 2000, Inhibizone by AMS in 2001 and Coloplast followed with the Titan with hydrophilic coatings in 2002. 2006 saw AMS implement the Momentary Squeeze Pump and the "new" flat reservoir and Coloplast brought on its One Touch pump in 2008. The particles also describes advances in surgical techniques etc. The artical was published in the Korean Journal of Urology dated March 2015 and is viewable in your browser, at least it was in mine.

The point of my post is to add a litte more to the knowledge base. I'm sure most of you know all this, but I didn't and those who are considering an implant might find it interesting to see how things have developed.

??? I'm not aware of these "many times over the last year," Alibaba. (Truth be told, I don't recall ANY time; not to say I haven't posed such a question in the past. I just don't recall any.) If I did then it was because I did not understand a point and wanted to know what it was. Also, this forum isn't about members taking personal swipes at each other--which name calling such as calling another member a troll clearly is. I was not clear about why the article was "interesting," as you put it, and put the question to the member who offered the article (i.e. you). It wasn't personal.

Watsup, I am not aware of a 2003 study in this thread. The link is to an interview with Dr. Perito and Dr. Eid in coral Gables Florida in 2007 where they explain their differing technics doing implants and why each does it the way they do.
