Pumping question-Somebody help please!
I have the AMS 700 LGX and I just went and pumped it up. I am 5 weeks poat-op. The most pumps I have gotten was 30 last night and it stung like hell. So when I pumped a while ago I reached 30 with no pain so I continued. I got to 50 hard full pumps and still very little pain. Is it possible that when it reaches its max the fluid returns to the resevor? I know your supposed to pump intil it hurts but I couldn't get there.

Well I am plenty hard but I am in the growing stage so I need to be able to pump up to the max.

I have the AMS 700 CX so our experiences might be different. That written, early on when I cycled, I noticed it took me a while to position the implant and pump correctly so that I could squeeze the pump to the max. Otherwise I was squeezing the pump all the way until my fingers met but nothing was happening. It's a trial and error process; you'll get the hang of it (pardon the expression). It doesn't have to hurt but you can tell if you've pumped to the max by how hard you are.

I have the lgx as well, and am 6 months post surgery tomorrow. I also have had the experience of nothing happening when the pump is very easy to operate. I think the clue is if you have pumped 30 times and nothing more is happening you need to change the pump position slightly as Kmeister said and the pump will become harder to operate again. The LGX instructions say that 5 to 10 pumps should be sufficient. Be patient, you are still in the very early stages and you don't want to do yourself an injury by over pumping or leaving it too hard for too long. The stretching process takes time, months or even a year actually. The LGX is advertised to expand 20% at best, maybe. At 6 months I have gained a little length from the early days, nothing spectacular, but I am now to the point that I can pump it up to the max and leave it all night without any pain or discomfort at all. And that is alright by me.

"[P]ump it up to the max and leave it all night without any pain or discomfort at all"? You must not sleep on your back. If I tried that and lay on my back, the blanket covering would look like a tent.

You're right, I don't sleep on my back, never have.
"If I tried that and lay on my back, the blanket covering would look like a tent." Now you're just bragging!
Of course, as a friend of mine used to say, "If you can do it, it's not bragging!" Cheers
Re: Pumping question-Somebody help please!
I have an AMX 700 CX and I am supposed to start pumping up tomorrow.
When the nurse showed me how to do it, he did it from my left but I am right handed and is is a fact that I have more force on my right than my left.
I feel like the pump can be move to the othe side but I am not certain of this. It would make sense if one could use it from either side.
Please let me know if one of the AMX 700 recipients knows or has any suggestions, it really hurt when the nurse tried to pump.
Thank you
Mario

Everything in there is pretty slippery and moves around plenty. You will be able to pump with either hand - just steady the pump with one hand and pump with the other. After you have some practice you will be able to pump one-handed.

When you first start pumping, your scrotum will hurt a lot. In time it won't.
