It's been a long road to this point as a man with lifelong ED. I'm 29, looking forward to reaching the end, and am filled with a feeling of acceptance and eagerness. Nevertheless, I have to admit to also harboring some anxiety and uncertainty. The usual concerns, really. Pain of recovery, size, how it will feel, the remote but real possibility of infection, and such. Going with Dr. Kramer in Baltimore, as I have never felt more comfortable with a physician in my life. I have total confidence in his abilities.
I will be providing regular updates when I undergo the procedure, because I know how much I have benefited from the accounts of others in doing research and coming to a decision. I think that, because of my own situation, men in their twenties and thirties need to know that they are not alone and that there are options.
Surgery date set for 12/30/15

Good decision, great doctor. I'm sure you'll be pleased - best wishes for an easy recovery!

Ditto what DG said. All the best. Glad to hear you are sticking around. Lots of good guys here willing to offer advice and answer questions.

Happy for you that you've come to a decision. I think that's always the hardest part, and once the decision is taken, half the weight on your shoulders is gone already.
Good luck and thanks for keeping us posted.
I will for sure be following your progress.
I am by the way very close to going ahead myself. Have a preliminary, but not yet confirmed, date with Dr Eid at Dec 15th. So maybe I'll be done and back home when your time is up...
I am still debating with myself and my wife. After the sclero things work ok with pills. Before sclero, even pills gave us a shitty sex life. Now it goes 100% hard, stays like that during foreplay and a 5-10 minutes act. Can't be too inventive though, as the clock somehow is ticking still and there needs to be some level of 'action' to keep things hard. But I'd guess what we can achieve now is pretty standard stuff for a married 40+ couple with kids.
Do still miss the possibility to be spontaneous though. Without pills things are absolutely crap. Starting off semi-hard and finishing soft...
We'll see what happens.
Good luck to you again, and congrats on taking the decision.
