Very sore at tip of implant

Postby Andy47 » Mon Nov 23, 2015 5:15 am

Hello Guys,

10 weeks post op now Titan OTR 22 cm with 2 cm extenders.

I have been cycling but at the very tip of the right hand implate tube it gets very sore! It feel like the tip is only just under the skin with hardly any skin / flesh between the pointed tip of implant and the outside of my penis. (Right had side only!)

Any similar experiences, and if so, will it get better, or do I need attention and maybe a shorter tube? :(

Andy
Best regards,

Andy

I am not a doctor and should make no comments on whether something is wrong or not.
I just hope things work out well in the end.
Just curious to know which doctor you had?
43 yo, ED forever from VL
Fit and active
Implanted December 2015
Titan XL 24 cm, no RTEs
Dr. Eid
Activated day 13
Sex after 3 weeks
Gained length and girth
So far It works perfectly
Only one advice: Find a world class surgeon

This was carried out in the UK.

I feel the consultant was very good, but something seems a miss and it is dam sore!! The consultant has been in touch and is on matters if something needs to be change, which of course I hope it doesn't!

I'm really trying to gauge how common this problem is, and if it does get better over time, or worse!

Ah, ok.

I can't give out his / her name in case of repercussions by "naming and blaming."

What I really want is to find if others have experienced this (as "63 Pan Head" mentions in this post) and the outcomes.

When in doubt ask your doc to look at it in person....
66 year old with ED intermittently for years and consistently for the 2 years before implant. Tried everything. AMS CX 21cm+1 cm RTEs Dr Kramer 4/29/2015.
Revision 5/3/2021 AMS CX 700 21cm+2 cm RTEs.
Revision 2022 Titan XL 24 cm no RTEs.

In my case the problem resolved after two repair surgeries, now it has returned and I'm looking for a good repair man in Florida. Anyone know anyone but Perito?

There's a Mayo Clinic in Florida.

Hi Andy. I believe this was a revision you had? I think initially you were quite pleased with the revision. Is the issue an overhang from the first surgery itself? The surgeon you had a revision from is actually quite good from what I hear so would be interesting to know what happened.
Developed ED at 32.
