Pumping pre surgery

Postby alibaba » Fri Dec 04, 2015 1:00 pm

Opinions? What did your doc recommend? Experience?
I've read the Dinnean report several times.
Dr. Milan said to keep pumping the next 3 months leading up to surgery. No other instructions.
Dr. Brandes told me years ago to pump up 2 times per day for at least 10 minutes 365 days a year.
I did that 2 years till I burned out and then only pumped intermittantly for several years.. lost size during the off times that I never regained
Since finally getting a surgery date I have been looking for info on pre surgery protocol.
I've found from pump 2x a day for 10 minutes to pump 3 times a day in warm water for 10 minutes each PLUS wear a penis extender 8-10 hours a day. ( The guy said this was his doctors orders). I did not think those things could be wearable but learned they are.
Opinions please!. Thanks. d

No such orders from my doc. I read a review of penis enlargers of various types including pill etc and the end consensus was they don't really work for permanent results.

I was told to pump up everyday AT LEAST twice a day for about 10-20 minutes. Having had to do this several times, through several implants, I find that if you pump it up every chance you get (3+) it actually brought back some lost length. Dr. Milam and others were surprised at the results I got from this. I'm not sure it works so well for everyone, but it did for me. I'd keep pumping just to ensure I could get every advantage. Also, bringing in fresh oxygenated blood helps keep the tissue healthy for a better surgical result (so I'm told).

Alibaba,

Pump as much as you can to keep your penis stretched. You will lose length if you don't pump. With ED you will lose length over time. I lost length because of ED and I didn't do a good job in pumping. Your penis isn't working why not stretch it as long as you can get it. Please do it the correct way with causing damage to the skin or blisters. I pumped the morning of my surgery. I am almost 14 months post op. Good Luck!

I agree with Lewis, and most doctors will at least say it can't hurt, even if they don't advocate the pre-surgery pumping protocol. I'm probably a bit biased, since Dr. Dineen did my implant, but I had also read his paper prior to my first appointment with him and had begun pumping as a result of noticing a loss of length while doing the injections. My surgery was delayed by nine months, but I kept up with pumping twice a day for 10 minutes each time. The increase in length was most obvious in the first two months, but there were slight gains over the course of the nine months. I wasn't looking to increase the length (although I could hope...lol), but was hoping to prevent any loss of length that I had read about. I didn't lose any length at all.

Thanks for the replies. I have been pumping before bed. guess I have been nervous to try during the day as i know when I try then that the UPS , Fedex truck or a neighbor will show up. I know it's 10 minutes but it takes a minute to dress too. d

I used the VED for 11 months before IPP surgery. 1st thing in Morning and before bed. It was almost like the younger days , he would sit on the counter top and watch me shave, just had to be careful that he didn't fall the counter as that was un-nerving.
