well, it looks like dg_moore and billyb603 as well as I all went to Andrew Kramer it seems. I agree with the hundreds of other kramer patients on these boards-- recovery much easier than it seems like with other people. I too took it easy for a solid 3 days, then no pain pills, no swelling, back to light activities and work. He did not leave in a drain, but did leave in catheter overnight which I didn''t love. So that's been my experience: 20 minute surgery, day surgery, took it easy 2-3 days, worked 5 days later, used implant 2-3 weeks later after I couldn't resist- but I had no pain at all. Keep looking for high volume surgeon, guys. It's critical.

A week out from surgery today. Saturday was a turning point, I actually felt better than the day before. Swelling has gone way down and although I am still tender in a lot of places, no large amount of pain. Gotta keep track of how I sit and walk, bending over still pulls on things. Have my post-op appt tomorrow so will see what we'll do. Don't know if they will exercise the implant or not - kinda scared to do so as my penis is still really tender  Sure glad to be "over the hump" with this though, gosh, it hurt a LOT.

You may want to take a pain pill about 1 hr before your appointment because he will pull, squeeze and bend it more than you will want him to. Also a pain pill before activation helps with that.
