Thanks for the advice Scooter.
Is that something that's need to be done permanently or just for a limited time?

Re: My Journal
Eid just left.
He came to see me in the hotel for the second time in my 5 days post-op.
I was worried as said because of the pump pointing to the right (4 o'clock) causing pain at the point where it pushes the skin. It even pokes the skin to the thigh when I walk.
And as a result the of the pump's position, the left testicle sits nicely at the bottom of the sac while the right ball is trapped up high by the pump.
Eid was, when talking to him on phone this morning, mostly worried because my pain at the pump-contact had increased yesterday after my short walk. He kept asking if skin is attached to pump - which it isn't. That, together with increased pain would be two bad signs of infection. He just kept saying he wasn't too worried about my concerns, his only main worry is always infection.
So he came here and he examined me.
Roughly. F**k it hurted badly when he squeezed and pinched and moved everything around.
His comment though was that there is no sign of infection and the issues I worried about looked better than he thought from my description. He's still satisfied with the pump placement, says everything is a trade-off between several factors such as ease of access, natural look, comfort etc.
He still thinks I won't be bothered by the pump pushing skin or thigh once all is healed. 'You won't even feel it'.
He thinks testicle will find enough space when swelling is gone.
He does however think I should be a bit more deflated.
Even the little fluid now in the cylinders is enough to keep my penis point up at 1:30 to 2:00, which makes pissing a challenge...
He said that this is because of his extremely aggressive sizing. 'There is not one mm left of space in you. Those cylinders fill you up completely'. And he said even this little fluid is enough to create a semi-erection pointing upwards.
He tried to deflate me now but I screamed out loud of pain and just couldn't take it.
I will go to his office tomorrow morning, drugged on heavy painkillers and let him try again.
I hope he's honest and not just saying what I want to hear.
His last words were again a reassurance of 'It looked better than I thought. Things are going well, you'll be fine'.
Let's hope he's right. And may the painkillers work tomorrow or I'll pass out.

Re: My Journal
A Sunday house call, that's unheard of!! I am glad that you were able to see him again. As far as the baby powder advice, that was just something I tried and it seems to work really well. I always kept it away from stitched area just to be safe.
You had asked me if I tried my new parts out and yesterday we did for the first time. Everything worked but I learned a good lesson on trying to do recover from surgery. My incision healed incredibly fast on the outside and.my doc gave me the green light at day 16 but he did make mention that it might still be sore due to the internal stitches. He did not lie, it was quite painful and in retrospect I am quite sure that it was the pressure being put on the internal stitches. Even today I had to take pain meds because I definitely went backwards a few days. Oh well, I'll take and give it at least a week (if not two) before we try that again.
Anyway, I am really glad that Eid was not thinking a 2nd surgery was needed!! Hang in there, we are all pulling for you!!

I'm glad too. And again, I hope he's right. It ain't over till the fat lady...
Good to hear your equipment worked when put to test. That's all that matters. A little pain from a learning lesson is something you'll have to take! I am only happy for you - not sorry!
And thanks for your encouragement. I never thought words from some anonymous guys on an internet forum (the first I've ever used) could mean so much.

Re: My Journal
I'm sure you'll be fine, just need time for healing and swelling to go down. Don't be alarmed if your penis starts to look black and blue from bruising either.
Re: My Journal
Glad things are looking well. I'm reminded of my wife telling me all the time, you just can't do things like you did for a while, you have to take it easy.........then there is the sack that held 2 eggs for 42 years. They were comfy, each had their own cozy corner, happy and content, and then someone decided, "we'll cram another one in there and a few hoses". It's going to take time regardless. I don't know If I would feel like taking the walks you have this early on. I remember some surgeries hobbling 60 feet from the living room to the bedroom and waddle walking. No where near a 1-2 block walk ....each way! Be well man. They are fueling the jet for the trip home. d
LGX 21cm .Milam 01/13/16. Horror; both service and surgical outcome. hated infrapubic installation. Kramer revision 03/01/17. 22cm Titan +1.5cm extender. Those who think their opinion is the only one that matters are a danger to themselves and others.
Re: My Journal
Hey Merrix, you must lead a charmed life. Nobody I know ever gets a doc to make TWO house calls let alone one, and on a Sunday as well. Buy lottery tickets!!
I would listen to the doc. He has done thousands of these operations and seen an equal number of healing organs and if he seems a little unconcerned it is because he is. The time to worry is if he says' "Uh oh!" I know it is hard not to worry because you are far from home, alone and pretty much stuck in a hotel room for a bit but you are doing great.
My pump bulb is pointed to the right down at about the 5 oclock position and the pump body is turned almost 90 degrees to the front plane of my body. This has no effect on pumping because the bulb is round and it makes finding the deflate button much easier as I don't have to dig under the scrotum to support the pump body from behind when pressing the button but I can support and squeeze from the side. Pointing a bit to the right has no effect on how it works. The right testicle will find a new comfortable home. Interesting, as I also had my scrotum sticking to the inner side of my right thigh when my implant was very new and that has disappeared entirely.
Your surgery was a bit more difficult than some so things will take a bit longer. From your accounts you are doing well, Hang in there bud!!

Re: My Journal
Thanks guys.
However, here is the latest...
After his examination in the hotel last night, it hurted badly after his attempt to deflate and touching and feeling. I had to get on painkillers again.
Saw him in the office early today morning.
I took, as instructed, two strong painkillers before going to allow him making a new attempt to deflate a bit.
This was my third, and most painful so far, 200 m walk to that office.
He managed to deflate some, but it hurted terribly. I was biting my sweater and still screamed out loud.
I already decided I am not going home for Christmas. The flight will be a nightmare, but most of all, Christmas will be a nightmare. We have guests coming and going all holidays and someone is always staying over. As it is now, I can't hide my pain well enough to deal with that. I just want to rest in bed.
Eid said that's a good decision.
He says my pain is worse than normal 6 days post op.
On the other hand, he says there are reasons which could explain that.
The extensive scar tissue on my right side of the penis (outside of curve - normally it's worse on the inside), which forced him to dilute rougher than normal. This caused a lot of bleeding. When he closes the internal wound where cylinders are inserted, blood gets trapped. This causes inflammation which hurts. He also thinks that the sclerotherapy made this worse since many veins are closed which reducec my natural draining capacity which contributed to bleeding and slower drainage.
He is also honest and says of course that the pain could in worst case be symtoms of an infection. He still thinks that is unlikely and no other signs of that. No fever and no skin attached to pump. Also, he said that if there is an infection, the pump will often get covered by infected tissue which makes it hard or impossible to feel the contours of the pump. This has not happened. He rather thought he could feel them clearer today than yesterday.
However, he is as I said, recommending me to stay here under supervision. Will see him again tomorrow and then regularly every few days to monitor developments.
Rebooking tickets next on agenda...

Re: My Journal
Merrix i sure hope things start getting better for you soon. Doesn't sound like you're feeling very good right now. Hopefully things will start looking up soon and healing.
Problems began in 2011 at 51 yo. I did testosterone/HCG/Anastrozole but it didn't fix erections. Pills and tri-mix worked then failed. Had AMS 700 CX installed on Feb 2nd 2016 by Dr. Thomas Walsh at University of Washington.
Re: My Journal
The head of every guy's penis when he has E.D. does not swell up with arousal. For some it does, and for some it doesn't (and for some it will improve over time). The implant does not effect the swelling of the head; it just makes the penis hard -- which is a good thing!
