I just got back from my activation appointment and I must admit disappointment. It's a common disappointment but, at this point, I've lost about 1/2" in length and significant girth. I have a 18cm AMS MS 700CX 12mm with 5cm RTE. With it pumped up, the length is 6" from the pubic bone and 4 3/4" girth. Before the operation, with injection, I was 6 1/2" length and significantly more girth.
I know from reading other's posts that it is much too early to be concerned with size, but I am. Does anyone who has had his implant for some time have this same size? If so, what is your final length and girth? Is it possible to get more size over time or is this all that's available from the device?

First time pumping up questions
Implanted AMS CX 700 11/15 by Dr. Morey in Dallas (botched). 6/16 - Surgery by Dr. Kansas in Austin to correct the mistakes. Works great now. Very pleased!
Re: First time pumping up questions
Give it time. Plenty of time. You will be able to realistically see your results in a few more weeks and with arousal. DO NOT TRY TO MEASURE AND JUDGE YOUR RESULTS UNLESS AROUSED, OTHERWISE YOU WILL NOT EXPERIENCE THE FULL RESULTS. My penis does engorge and gets bigger when I'm aroused.

I would echo Avis as to making sure fully aroused I get 1/2 inch extra length and almost 1/2 inch girth. Both of these on top of an unaroused inflation size that is about 1/2 inch bigger than it was early on. Still growing a bit I believe even now 8 months out for me. It's hard (pun definitely intended) but focus on the positives about having an on demand stiff useable penis that most guys can't count on at some point throughout their lives. We are lucky to be able to be erect when and for how long we want. The length and girth will likely improve for several months if you cycle regularly per your docs protocol. Good luck.

I am at four weeks post-op and had the same concerns and close to the same measurements. CX with 21 CM and 2 CM RTE's = and have been pumping for just over a week. I went in yesterday and the PA measured 6" to the pubic bone. This is not the way I have measured so in my opinion I have still lost about 1/2" as well but I expect to regain that with time and usage. Girth is still about the same in that it is a snug fit in an empty toilet paper roll although it may be flatter. He also gave me a prescription for alprostadil suppositories (muse ?) to help with engorging the surrounding areas and glans in case I wanted to try that.
60 YO - PC at 49 with RRP. ED and atrophy since then. AMS-CX 21 CM + 2 CM RTE's done on 11/24/15
Re: First time pumping up questions
Milestone data for me to follow shortly (everyone is different, but I think i took longer than most here to hit important benchmarks, especially for the lower 40s and younger crowd). You've been lurking long enough to know not to worry about size. People preach that over and over. Doesn't matter, when it's YOURS you still do. You always wonder "maybe I wasn't sized correctly" or maybe scar tissue kept me from getting the outcomes everyone else raves about, I should have done it sooner because my size would be better, should have skipped those barbaric at times useless injections, blah blah blah. Anyway....
Day 8: I totally questioned that maybe I got undersized, despite being implanted by arguably the best implanter in the world. I never talked much about size beforehand because I knew Kramer knew what the hell he was doing. I hadn't even cycled yet and things were going the wrong direction. "Shrinking" daily (you actually aren't, you're healing), I said to myself "I should have talked size and importance up front."
Day 27: After about 4 days of light cycling (before I was given the green light to do so). I was pleasantly surprised to see I got most of my length back. slightly aroused I got to 6.75 inches (7 pre-implant). The few days before I wasn't getting past 6. However the thing looked like a pencil and it hurt like hell getting to that point. NO girth. Big time loss of girth. Questioned how that could ever improve and started researching cylinder diameters on line. Laid off of cycling totally until day 38. Had to quit obsessing over it. & I still had irritation around the scar and of course the pump is as hard as a marble. At day 38 post-implant I commit to finally pumping as much as I could twice a day and holding for 10 mins. It hurt.
Day 40 (almost 6 weeks): Sill hurt to cycle, but almost back to normal size. pencil looks more like a sharpie and going right direction
Day 42: First day I noticed the pump softening, and I measured for the very last time. I was 7" clean aroused and girth-wise exactly what it looked like after a pill and injection when that was the last way I could get a penetrating erection. Didn't hold it there too long, I just wanted to see the finished product.I knew that issue was off the table.
I know these benchmarks because I took notes every single day. When you are having a bad day, I beg you to come back to this post/or board. I was there. We all were give or take a week or so along the way.
Other days of note not related to size specifically:
Day 24 - Completely lost feel of deflate valve on a saturday, I was freaking out (had no problems whatsoever the days before and was big time regretting my decision to get it started before I healed sufficiently)
Day 45 - First intercourse. But I realized I needed to get my cardio back up because I hadn't done any since the surgery, which is totally unlike me and I got tired way before he did (he as in my penis, my girlfriend and I's first go at it).
Day 50 - STILL Can't pump to max or close to it without pain.
Day 61 - I'm a stomach sleeper and I had a bad bed (really firm mattress) and it hurt one morning out of nowhere. Cycling pain STILL not gone two months full later. that didn't last too much longer than that, maybe a couple more weeks, we'll call it almost 3 months.
Day 120 - Appearance-wise there is zero sign of a scar (I'm black and I'm betting because of it the scar was more visible longer as it was lighter in color and it finally evened out) and it was the final chapter and nail in the coffin of any downsides to doing it. FOUR FULL MONTHS to know with 100% unwavering certainty it was the biggest and best decision I've ever made in my life to date.
My one message to you, remain calm at all times. You got this. I can already tell you do in your demeanor. It's going to take a LOT longer than YOU want it to get to your personal benchmarks for success, but you will get there. Promise. Come back here if you are ever a little down, just reading & not even posting (you already know what we'll say back to you anyway), it helps, these guys here got me thru it.
Congrats! Keep us posted

Re: First time pumping up questions
Thanks, guys. It is really great to have a place to talk about these issues. It would be so much more difficult to go thru this procedure and the healing process without being able to confer with men who have been down this road. First hand information and reassurance is so important.
I pumped up this evening and have already gained back 1/2" in girth! The length is still 6", but I care much more about regaining my girth than length. With this much gain in only 3 days of cycling, I feel really relieved and encouraged that I'll be back to what I'm used to. If things continue to progress like this, I feel that I'll be one of those who celebrate getting an implant as one of my life's best decisions.

Re: First time pumping up questions
It's been two months since my last post on this thread. I saw, recently, in another thread where someone said that the penis a couple of months after the surgery and 6 months to a year after surgery is as different as night and day. Well, mine is like night and day and I'm only 3 1/2 months.
What I found is that, right after surgery, the penile tissue is traumatized and flat. I had a significant loss of size. I truly was depressed looking at my penis that now seemed to resemble a pencil. What was before a beefy round shape was now small, oval and pretty flat.
Over the past few weeks most of my erectile tissues have restored themselves and I'm now round with my old girth back. My length is only 1/4" from original. I truly look and feel like my old self, again. Whew!
Also, the erectile tissue is starting function! I woke up this morning with a pretty hard erection that lasted almost half an hour and I was deflated! Therefore, I join the chorus of others on this forum and advise newly implanted members to not panic and become depressed. You penis will heal, the tissues will restore and grow and, YES, you did make a great decision.

That is so nice to know! But, you mention erection.... how is that possible with the implant on? you mean the penis just feels harder right?

Re: First time pumping up questions
A few weeks ago I started occasionally taking some left over Cialis. My theory was that blood flow is required for healing and, maybe, Cialis could somehow help with that. About two weeks ago, I started getting that feeling of a morning erection, but without getting hard at all. I think the feeling was that the blood was trying to build in there but didn't have the tissues rebuilt yet to enable it to expand.
I started taking 10-20mg of Cialis every couple of days so as to continue to encourage blood flow. The morning feelings have continued to get stronger and, yesterday, I woke with an erection hard enough to have sex (deflated). As the process has continued, my penis, when pumped up, is now back to looking and feeling much like a successful pre-surgery erection - really good size and shape. The tissues have rebuilt and the blood flow of arousal is back.
I think healing is all about good blood flow. That's why there is so much swelling around an infection or any trauma. The body is loading the area that needs healing with blood. Any thing that can aid the blood flow is great help.
