Question for Dr. Milam patients
In a thread today, a poster mentioned that Dr. Eid overfills the reservoirs a bit so that lack of fluid is never a reason for loss of length. Do any of Dr. Milam's patients know if he does the same? I'll ask, but I don't know that he'd answer.
Re: Question for Dr. Milam patients
DB, I cannot respond to the fill but I asked Maryann, his surgical nurse the other day if he would use the AMS conceal reservoir which is a flatter version and still holds 100cc. She stated he always uses the large ball shape one and she has been there for every surgery he does so will not use the flat one. Told him AMS rep suggested it for thinner people too but she said Milam is the surgeon and though an AMS rep will be in the surgery, he does as he pleases w/o input from the rep. I really wanted the flat one but at this point I will take a tupperware bowl if that is what it takes to get this done. Until things start to sag as the day goes on , I have pretty flat abs and a bulge probably would not look good especially since he said it would likely have to be installed high to get away from my other surgery areas. Same area Eid said he would place it which is even or slightly above navel level to the side. Most people do not need that high placement. Monday I do preop at 100 Oaks, then Tuesday as part of the way to kill the day before check in Wed, I am going to go into the clinic and do a look and feel of a sample implant. She says they keep one there for clinic, come at any time. I have seen old versions in the past but not inspected this model. In Oct I was last patient of the day, it was rushed, lights were out and most everyone had gone home so I've still questions to ask. Yes, Kramer I believe it was, said he has done many revisions because the reservoir was too small (65cc when should have been 100) or had not been filled enough. Some surgeons see how much it takes to pump you up before hooking up the reservoir by drawing from the fill syringe and only put that much in the reservoir. You can see that on some videos. They hook the syringe to the tube, and see how much it draws out of it when they pump you up. That causes some people to run out of fluid at a point. Keep in mind that close to half of Milam's implant work is supposedly redoing other ding dong's screwups so I would think he would get it right first time. PM me if you want to visit more. d
LGX 21cm .Milam 01/13/16. Horror; both service and surgical outcome. hated infrapubic installation. Kramer revision 03/01/17. 22cm Titan +1.5cm extender. Those who think their opinion is the only one that matters are a danger to themselves and others.
