Weird post op symptoms anyone?

Watsup is correct that the pain meds can cause kidney issues. One of the common pain meds post surgery is actually a 3x dose of Tylenol spike with Codeine. It can take 30 days for kidneys to recover from pain meds sometimes. In long term use, maybe never. In Nov.2007 after 30 days continued use, the meds completely shut down my wifes kidneys. 1 week in ICU , then a month later they were working again. It is possible to have a bladder infection which can move to the kidneys after being cathetorized, not uncommon, and not have burning pee. Some people don't have the burn, mostly older women or women that have had several kids though. This month, my wife's urinalysis came back pneumonococcus ( pneumonia bacteria). She had no symptoms except peeing often which is why I wrote the order for the test. She had surgery last month and a catheter at the time for about 2 hours. d

I just wanted to add that as of today, 30 days post op, all this seems to be gone.
Apparently I am quite uniqe in having these symptoms, at least for such an extended time.
But my best guess now is that they were simply long lasting stress reactions to pain, pain killers, lack of sleep (due to pain) and mental stress.

Anyway, should anyone in the future who reads this experience the same issues, you will know there is hope...

The high blood pressure and fever may be a sign of infection, need to have a blood test for Staph infection. I got my infection at 7 weeks post op.

Well I never had any fever. Or increased pain.
I had high blood pressure (from day 1 post op) till a few days ago.
Was pissing less than I thought normal.
And was sweating at night.
All three are gone now.
I discussed with Eid and he was 'sure' it is no infection.
But it won't hurt take a blood test to be sure.
