Hi Guys,
I just joined this group the other day.
I live in the UK, am married with 2 grown up children.
So, what brings me to being a member of this group.
Firstly, I have had problems with ED for the past 6 years. High blood pressure meds triggered off my ED problems.
For 2 years I tried various herbal products that I read about on the internet, all claiming to give me the "cure" for the condition that I found myself battling with.
I must have spent a fortune on the various products that I purchased via the net. Sadly, it turned out to be a complete waste of money.
However, more damaging was the fact that I lost all confidence sexually, that was the greatest cost over that 2 year period.
I had come to an all time low, depression was starting to take root within me.
My sexual relationship with my wife was at an all time low. Rather than face another failed attempt at sex with my wife I chose to sleep most nights in the spare bedroom.
I realised that something had to be done before more damage was done to my marriage and to my mental health.
I plucked up the courage to visit my doctor and tell him all that was happening in my life.
He offered me a prescription for cialis. The first 2 doses of cialis worked wonderfully well, giving me good strong erections, something that I had not experienced for quite a few years. However, I developed severe side-effects after taking the 3rd dose, I had severe lower backache, so severe that I needed time off work for a few days. My days for taking cialis was over.
Back to my doctor again! This time he prescribed viagra. It too gave me good strong erections but found that it was very difficult to come to the point of orgasm. I tried the viagra over a period of months to see if things got any better, alas I had to go back to my doctor once again.
I am now taking levitra and it's like a dream come true! Good strong erections and can orgasm easily during sex.
My confidence sexually is back, I can enjoy sex with my wife again.
If you are struggling with ED don't give up. There is hope for us, it may take time for you to find the drug, treatment, implant, that is best suited for you.
Barry.

Hi there Barry,
Nice to see a fellow UK guy on here, and also a good friend of mine.
What a great open and honest post, and good to see you have had a good outcome, even if it has been a rocky journey in finding it, both mentally and physically.
Hope to see more of you on here.
Dave

Barry,
So glad there is a happy ending to the story. Glad you're here. So, levitra is working? you're sleeping with your wife again? That depression is something no one else can understand.
welcome
Paul

Welcome Barry, nice to see you reaching out. Please feel free to jump in wherever you are comfortable.
I'm am wondering how you go about getting your ED Med's and how much they are costing you.
By reading between the lines I can see you are working on your now changed life after cancer and have made some progress. That is good.
I must admit that I wondered for a long while if we could save it but we did and she helped me a lot. I would be willing to talk more about that if you wish.
Please respond, Jim.
