who would be the best regarded implant surgeon?
Re: who would be the best regarded implant surgeon?
I am a frequent flyer with Dr. Kramer. He did both my implant and my male sling. I had both ED and incontinence after my radical prostatectomy. I cannot say enough good things about him. I had good results with both surgeries and no doctor I ever have encountered is as responsive to questions. He has responded to my emails on weekends and when he was on vacation. He has spent significant time with me in post surgery visits. Listen to his videos. His comments are not scripted. When you speak to him in person or on the telephone, he is exactly like what you hear on his videos.

Sure wish we had some very experienced DR that performed a large number of implants on the West Coast. I have personally talked to 2 or 3 of the great doctors mentioned from the East Coast and all of them called me back within 1 day of email message. So far those on the West Coast do from several a year to about 75. I'm still looking!!!!!
I am 74 years old and live near San Diego, CA. Had my 3 piece implant done 3 years ago by DR. Karpman. Due to MS I no longer have feeling in my hands and am no longer able to inflate. "ANY HELP" would be greatly appreciated!

There's a very highly regarded implant surgeon in Mountain View, CA, near San Diego. He's usually in the top five or ten mentioned on this forum.

Edward Karpman is the doctor that Mr. Becker has suggested. Those I've talked to say he is a very very nice doc who does talk to you and seems to be very well liked. He is one who said he had no problem doing my implant, but again, I was cheap and did not want to spend on airfare, though my wife and I did discuss nice CA weather vs. cold NY weather. Linky thing here: http://elcaminourology.com/ See the list of docs.
LGX 21cm .Milam 01/13/16. Horror; both service and surgical outcome. hated infrapubic installation. Kramer revision 03/01/17. 22cm Titan +1.5cm extender. Those who think their opinion is the only one that matters are a danger to themselves and others.

Does anyone recommend a great surgeon in SO. Calif.? From Sad Diego to LA area. Talked to DR Hsieh, nice personality but says malleable for my Multiple Sclerosis condition ( no finger feelings) and then he says to let his scheduler know. A little explanation but not much. He said about 2 wks healing process but that is not what I am hearing. Claims he does 75-100 per year. I need to ask for referrals.
Talked to DR Karpman, Mountain View, CA. on 2 separate occasions and both time he told me he would have his office call immediately but after 4-6 wks this has not happened. Gives me great concern.
Suppose to see DR Boyd at USC in12 days.
