Glans. I saw a doc today. One question I had was the glans. It does not engorge any more. He said it won't and most who tell you it will are blowing smoke.

A perfect example of an arrogant doctor. Many of the men on this forum--including me--report no problems with engorged glans, but this doctor has made up his mind about the matter and disregards evidence that contradicts that. Reminds me of a prominent doctor who declares that pre-op vacuum therapy isn't effective even though there was a definitive study that refuted his position.

Doctors aren't known for their humility, but I tend to stay away from those who are obstinate about their own opinions. I have an AMS CX, which has worked better for me than my previous Coloplast. My urologist is a Coloplast man but he switched in my case after consulting with another specialist and doing a bit of research on what would be best for me. That's my kind of doctor.

Karpman, Eid, Kramer, Garber, Perito. Those are the only 5 surgeons on the planet I would ever consider for implant surgery. Dr Karpman did mine, and I'm very happy with it.

I do not think it is a case of arrogant doctor at all as far as glans engorgement and the doc who told me yesterday was a far from arrogant as any doc I ever met. A very humble nice doc as the doc who recommended him and one of his patients told me. The fact is mine has no sign it is going to fill, and of the 4 people I personally know with implants 2 are like me, 1 has no issues, and one had to take viagra, get a blow job and play with it a while before it gets anywhere which is narrowly putting him in the depressive state he was in before his implant. Eid told a member here that you do not really know till it is done, but if done right chances are more in your favor. Eid also does the glans enhancement injections for those with implants with this issue. It is not a guaranteed deal no matter how many implant salesman want to make you think it is.
