Yes, it does help a lot! I find that even ED drugs are less available in the UK, much less candidates for implants.

My interest are in that it costs much less travelling to the UK from West Africa than to the US, much less hassle to obtain a visa, etc. In their website, I was also impressed by the LA's honesty in describing use and availability of materials in the enlargment procedures. More than anything, I am concerned about my size (length).

However, I should have loved to be refered to more posts by members who have done the implantation in the UK. I saw comments about how traumatic or complicated it would be to include lengthening in the operation but no reference for basing them on.

Going for implants is a "last resort" decision and "all" information gleaned from the forum I am expecting to be well grounded ...

From what I read and heard they don't actually lengthen the penis. What they do is cut the ligament that supports the penis by holding it up and reattach it farther back to push more of the penis out for you to see. In a poll that I saw the majority of men having this procedure were NOT happy with the results probably because the penis was hanging at 180 deg instead of 90 deg. I would not fork over the money to have this done knowing what I know now.

Based on what i have read so far, that is not the only method by which they do the penis enlargement. I am not however, advocating the procedure.

This question has been batted around on many forums over the years and I looked at lengthening after the first 1 3/4' loss after the prostatectomy 7 years ago. There are lengthening forums also. Most U.S. doctors will not do both in the same procedure. Some of the top docs say you will likely lose more length if you do both together as it will cause a lot of contraction. Remember, tissue, especially scar tissue contracts as it heals not expands. You cannot stretch your penis with the required traction device to avoid contraction if you have suspensory ligament surgery at the same time as an implant because the implanted penis is going to have to have a few weeks to heal. Here, I think the standard time between the 2 surgeries is 6 months. I was told yesterday to expect that up to 8 weeks healing time on my revision trying to restore the latest lost length may be required. When you read the upper side of the LA length possibility, it seems beyond reality. 1-2 cm seems to be the most common average of the California docs who do it regularly, though most say more is possible in some people. Keep in mind that OFTEN your penis will hang low instead of 2:30 or 3 o'clock after suspensory ligament excision and revision. Hanging down at 4:00 can give the ILLUSION you have more because it is lower from the pubic pad but you may not have more usable length nor is it an an angle that is preferred in many sexual positions. Like all web sites, there are many singing praises like political endorsements but not as many with the facts. All reasons I did not do it and that was back when cost would not have been an issue for me. If you want to know the facts, ask the old lady why she traded instead of talking to the used car salesman.
