Update
Re: Update
Pfracture, than you for your reassurance. I was hoping for a comment here from someone's experience to add to the phone conversations I've had with his patients, my internist, and a student of his. All up to this point say he is the problem solver all others could not fix.

Re: Update
As far as softer flacid with an AMS, It may be softer than a Coloplast but every day I try remember what it is that has the feel of my new flaccid. Cannot figure it out yet but it is something familiar that may make it easier for pre implantees to understand. It clearly is not as limber or soft as original and I tried the bounce test where you jump up and down yesterday while playing before yet another failed attempt at intercourse and the penis and balls will not flop up and down like pre implant. they stay in the same position now. If you do not understand what I mean by bounce test, watch Murray Swanbe here near the end of this short video. https://vimeopro.com/andrewchristian/ga ... /112095006 before, jumping up and down naked, my penis would slap my belly and balls going up and down. Now it never changes from it's down position. Like it is glued in place. No flop to flacid. It lays where you bend it to like it wire bag twisty.

Re: Update
I hope alibaba that the revision works out for you and that you can have it sooner rather than later. I am also very keen to have mine done so can understand the frustrations. It's a real pain in the a$$ having to go through the whole thing again but if the outcome is positive then it would have been worth it. I personally hate all this waiting and lingering...
I don't think the surgeon decision should be made on travel convenience but sounds like you're doing full research on the doc anyway. Once bitten twice shy eh.

Re: Update
I am really surprised that travel convenience could be of consideration at this point.
Please, can a revision expert be better also for first implantation? I would be coming from outside the US so I could "land" where it's best for me. I noted the five doctors listed by ed2013 and will research to get their locations. Adding other good or better ones is a bonus of chances.
I understand scrotal but what is "infrapubic" and which is better?

Re: Update
Merrix's postings were quite detailed and useful for research. Now I will follow alibaba's progress very closely - what can be derived from it will make one prepared for any outcome of the procedures.
The best of luck ...

Re: Update
Travel consideration for me is only due to cost and cash on hand. My income is a small SS stipend of $434 a month then we have a lump sum amount annually from another source that pays all other expenses for the year.Though that amount may be considered substantial by most people, it has to pay $90,000 a year for my wife and my meds, housing costs, food, insurance, property taxes, upkeep and maintenance, utilities and such so I budget it very very tightly as there is no room for error. When something out of the ordinary pops up then $ gets to be a be problem. I loathe using credit accounts but sometimes have no choice. Last year the 12 month budget ran out of cash in July due to a severe storm causing damage. This year we have already nearly expended the entire 12 month allocation due to insurance refusing to pay for some meds they always covered in the past and we are only 3/4 the way through the 3rd month of the fiscal budget so travel costs like airfare to NY, a week in the hotel, meals, taxi, and having to pay for pre surgery testing out of pocket which for some reason insurance will not cover with Eid are harshly considered considering all together would cost another $5,000 that was not in the budget as I expected to have a completely satisfying working penis by Milam. Had i anticipated it would have to be done over, I would have never gone to him to start with and at this point is sounds like nearly everyone he did that week is considering a revision or upset. I do nothing I cannot pay for. If it must be Eid, it will be and modifications will be made or I will wait till I can fit it in a budget again. We have few frills in our budget. Not been on a vacation in 32 years. Travel used to be business travel but now we are hermits. I had budgeted a new couch this year as I hate the old one so bad I want to carry it into the yard and put a match to it but that ( and a few other things) went out the window when Medicare and the insurance company decided to quit covering a med that costs $5,208 per year and one of mine that is $216 a month. Thanks to a billing screw up by Barnes Jewish hospital in St. Louis in January, it looks like I am on the hook for another $1,000 on this implant to Vanderbilt now too. Fixed incomes are great as long as you have no expenses. If the doc continues to check out as well has he has so far, Chicago is a very viable option as we have a loving son there who has often asked me to come live with him. Several times a year he says "old man come up here, I will take care of you." and at one point he actually came down here and took care of his mother and I for a month. Eid is not off the table until it is done and he has been immensely helpful with information.

Re: Update
Europe, Canada, Australia, Costa Rica are light years ahead of the United States in universal coverage and costs. The cost of a tooth implant went up in Costa Rica last year to $500, double what it used to be. I was just quoted $3700 here. Several friends have had them in CR and their U.S. dentists tell them the quality is better than here in the states. It is nothing but greed and how much $$ they can make. Doctors in our community buy every large tract of land or commercial property available to use up their cash. No-one can compete to buy land because they pay so much. Medical costs are not regulated. Thanks to lobbiests buying politicians, it is illegal to regulate or put out for bids some areas of medicine. Here in Missouri, patient assistance programs are considered a kickback thus illegal which is why the AMS program to assist or finance cannot be used to help with costs in this state. It is illegal in most states to use co-pay cards or discount cards if you have insurance, medicare or medicaid. That is insane as it makes the insurer and patient pay more when discounts could be available. A doctor in St. Louis looked at a CT scan of an anuerysm I have. I never saw the guy. He was sent an electronic copy of the scan and gave an opinion surgery was not needed at this time. He charged $1755 for the opinion. The doctor who sent it to him told me he replied his answer 5 minutes after they sent it to him so it did not take him much time to look at the picture on the computer. Certainly he has an education and they invest time and $ in that. In CR you study medicine only, no history or gym class to become a doctor. You can get your education free for working part time for the state as a doctor and have a degree in 2-3 years. End of rant folks, now back to your regularly scheduled honest and caring political debate by honorable politicians.

I'm not going to post a video. But, I did the bounce test this morning and I can hit my belly with my flaccid AMS CX-implanted penis.
