Didn't change my hybrid saddle and didn't feel any worse than I usually do though have heard a split seat is better in general. If I start riding more may need to but work has kept me from that.

Right now I am cycling to the max during my morning shower and when I get into bed at night. When I am ready to get dressed after my shower, I deflate my penis as much as I can and place my penis pointing up in my boxer briefs. Sometimes I fall asleep before I deflate my evening erection. I sleep on my side so the erect penis does not interfere with sleeping. If I don't fall asleep fully erect or awake in the middle of the night, I press the deflate button until the buzzing stops but do not squeeze out the rest of the fluid in my penis.

One of the reasons I am asking about deflate default is that I really do not like the feel of my penis when it is fully deflated and I can feel the bent edges of the cylinders. Other than looking like an exhibitionist, does anyone see a problem with only deflating until the buzzing stops and keeping my penis semi inflated all day? BTW most of my pants are sufficiently loose that I don't think the people would be able to tell the difference between my fully deflated penis and a partially inflated one.

I generally inflate fully in the morning before getting in the shower and leave it inflated for about 30 minutes while doing my bathroom routine (shaving, etc.). I deflate all the way before putting on my briefs, pants etc., and leaving the house. I usually inflate before engaging in my right-before-bed activities (brushing my teeth, shower, etc.) but will deflate before going to bed--unless my wife and I decide to engage in some passion. About once a week or so I will leave myself partially inflated when I go to bed but not often. I just can't sleep with a full erection.

I can't imagine any harm coming from leaving yourself partially erect. However, I wouldn't recommend doing so before going to the park and being around children.

Firstly, I think all of us are purely speculating and guessing when answering your question.
I will as well.

I would say that I think it sounds like a bad idea.
If your only reason is you don't like the look and feel of the totally deflated penis, well get used to it is my advice.
I think there could be some downsides to not deflating completely.
Again, only speculating.
One could be erosion. Either in tip or crus.
One could be expansion of the circumference of the cavernosa, which means over time the cylinders will no more completely fill up the cavernosa. There will be some slack and your erection will not be/feel as good.
I also think leaving it inflated will increase the risk for the wobbling effect.
All of these issues are problems associated with the semi-rigid implants.
The advantage of an inflatable implant is exactly that it is deflatable. If you don't fully make use of that advantage you end up with some sort of hybrid of semi-rigid and IPP. That means you are increasing the risks associated with a semi-rigid implant as well.

Finally there is the risk of scar tissue forming around a less than full reservoir, making it harder/impossible to completely deflate.

Again - I am no doctor.
But I will always be very sure to keep my implant deflated when not in use (or doing the 30-60 min daily cycling if one believes in that protocol).

Clearly there are a lot of opinions on this but realistically only your physician knows you well enough to give you the best guess at long term results for you one way or the other. And I suspect there are several right answers. Good luck.

Did you ever ask Dr. Kramer what he thought about this? When we had our post surgery visit, he showed me how to deflate fully, but I don't recall his saying anything one way or the other as to what my default deflation state should be.

That's basicley what my urologist told me. What brought it up was the fact that after fully deflating I was partly filling by gravity. He said no problem as long as it was comfortable. Didn't get around to saying what to do is it wasn't. lol

I definitely am more comfortable with some fluid in the tubes.

I would love to know what is the most comfortable for everyone. So far fully deflated is okay, but if it's more comfortable another way I would really appreciate the info.

Sometimes as flaccid as I can make it is comfortable, sometimes the folds and kinks hurt and it needs a few pumps, sometimes that does not work out. At this point I have not found any one size or position always comfort level. Seems all need attention at some point.
