Papou - CONGRATULATIONS - your procedure sounds like what one of my uros said he'd likely need to do - to "carve out" the scar tissue/fibrosis (mine is from cancer radiation treatment back when I was about 11) - in order to get the cylinders in. Any other info you could provide would be greatly appreciated. . . . My doc in August aborted the attempt at implanting me and I had my catheter for five days - piece of cake taking it out although sounds like doc may be doing yours. BEST OF LUCK for a speedy recovery.

You said that you were seeing uro today so hopefully that has helped ????

Trying again to describe what I do for the pain in the balls :-
- I assume you are using a jockstrap? I find it a lot easier to put on some underwear first, and then put the JS over the underwear.
- However just as I'm about to pull up the underwear I take a very large wad/ball of lint (given to us at the hospital).
- I put the thick wad between my legs and push it up so that it is arranged under the balls, pushing them up (like a cushion), THEN while in place I pull up the underwear to support the cushion, finally putting on the JS.
Hope that either helps or you have found a better method

Hi guys. I'm back from my uro visit on Monday. I was on a pain pill when I went there so I was really happy with the visible results. Length was more than I expected and girth was HUGE. Don't have any measurements cause I'm too sore now to even think about measuring anything. He reiterated that there was only one incision, that around the circ scar. When I asked him how he got everything in through that he smiled and sad "we have our methods". At that point I was feeling no pain and anxious to get home. My wife ran out of the room in horror when she saw me fully erect. I think that's a good sign. I think that months of ved prep before surgery helped with the size issue.
Since then I've been in pain. My penis is a bit numb and I cannot pee easily. He's left me 50%erect and I've been drinking water and cranberry juice but still feel pain (four days out) while peeing. I dread going to the bathroom. As for shitting I finally did today, twice, with the help of milk of magnesia. It's a painful experience with an erection and all. Is anybody else going through any of this?
Right now I, in my recliner, 4:00am, unable to sleep with gas pains having to shit again but unable to do so. Back to the milk of magnesia. I'm afraid to strain too much. A lot of tenderness done there.

For a week when I had my implant inserted in 2002 I basically remained in my recliner with an ice bag on my crotch, took heavy pain meds to begin, then lighter ones (staying in the recliner with ice bags). After a week I was able to return to work, but I had a desk job; guys with jobs that require more physical strain should check with their uros. Was it worth all that? Oh yeah!

Stomach cramps and burning urination got so bad that I called uro. Seeing him this pm.

Your 'huge' girth could well be swelling. About 4 or 5 days Post-Op I sent pics to uro telling him MY peeing problems (hurt/burn).
His reply was "The swelling is all soft tissue and will resolve with steady compression from the scrotal support and with elevation. I'd like you to deflate the cylinders . This will help with both the swelling and the voiding."
In the end he deflated me and gave me Uribel which is a pain relieving pill combo of Antiseptic & AntiBiotic. That helped a lot but luckily I read the description that tells you how the pee will turn Totally BLUE (it goes away when stop using it..)
