45 days post implant now. I've learned:
If the doc's nurse won't talk to you, is rude, argues or does not return calls run.
If the doctor does not answer all you questions, run faster.
Vanderbilt has a crappy reputation discussing issues, med screw ups, vague and short record keeping, high price, extremely
difficult to get your records from. Also made mistakes on prescription. Your veterinarian would be a better choice from
my experience there.
I DO NOT like infrapubic. I want this thing out as soon as possible. 2 hours on my feet doing active projects and the tubing
around my penis hurts so bad I am eating Advils and have to sit down for a while to rest else it gets to tears pain level
even with double dose Advil.
Now the weather is warmer the pump hangs 1/2 way down the ball sack and sits on top of the balls. Another reason no tip
extenders with the LGX is an issue with the short tubing. This adds to the irritation of the tubing wrapped around penis.
Damned Infrapubic again. All that tubing above penis takes up space and about 3/4" in length is lost due to it. Don't plan on
any pubic bone to pubic bone sex because it is not going to happen on your side. Also count on banging your tubing on her
pubic bone or pad is going to hurt after a bit and you keep trying to go deeper like you used to but can't because of the damned
tube wad.
If your doctor does not give you names of patients you can talk to, screw him. People's views of implants change after the have one
and certainly interesting insight after they have had several. Very helpful. Wish I'd had the conversations I've had the last few weeks
before.
Your tubing is going to get stiff as wire when pumped up. If you have infrapubic that is going to cause more issues jutting out
the front and side plus cocking the pump at an angle where it digs into things. Pump is going to be cocked rather than hang
straight down if infrapubic anyway.
Get the best doc you can afford. The old guy on the corner that vaccinates hogs for cholera most of the week isn't going to cut it.
Even if you have trouble getting a doc to do an implant like I did, still get more than one opinion.
Nobody has the same experience with this surgery. Don't expect it to be the same as the last 3 guys your read on the net. For all you
know they are a doc trying to drum up business or the luckiest person on earth. Not all experiences are bad by the same token.
Fight your insurance company. They count on you crawling into a hole and sucking your thumb the first and 4th time they say no.
#@ckem. You pay them a premium and they agree to indemnify you. Make sure they hold up their end of the contract.
Give your ball weight, cock ring and VED to the stoner down the street to play with. You won't need it. Keep the Cialis,Viagra,Levitra,and MUSE. you may well need it. Do not expect an implant to keep you from having to use PDE5 inhibitors. IF that is the only reason you want an implant, it is not a good one.
Move to a warmer climate. Winter sucks............oh, wrong thread.

You're certainly right about the nurse and the pump/tubing causing problems going public to pubic. I called the nurse about the migration of the pump to the front, and mentioned the body-to-body contact as an issue with the pump and tubes up front. She just ridiculed me. I never got an answer, either. Actually, I called five times after my surgery. She stopped returning my calls after the third time. I never got an answer to my two questions.

I record all of my phone calls that have to do with anything important. I wish to God I'd recorded the calls with her. I could give the recordings to the patient relations department.
