Found Franktalk by chance, been lurking for a couple days..
Briefly, I am 80..... Lost my second wife, after 25 years of very happy marriage....she was only 53 when I lost her to brain tumor 3 years ago. She was about 25 years younger than. We enjoyed a very vigorous sexual life together.

I figured my sexual life was finished.....however I recently met a fantastic young woman of 41, who lost her husband a year back....we are inseparable ....enjoy a very active sexual life ....usually ending in mutual orgasm by masterbation.

ED has raised it 's ugly head....the Viagra/CIalis tabs are not effective. However I do get and maintain very powerful erections in the early morning particularly after taking a pill the night before.

Gf says shse is not worried about the status quo......and is happy to continue as is.....i'm not at all happy with it.....and have done just about everything I can think of to get a hard at the right time......

Although I believe my testosterone was AOK... 350 whatever......I have been doing the Androgel rub bit daily for 6 weeks...multiple vitamins...and other supplements....as well as the ED drugs ......a good useful erection is not forth coming.
I am contemplating a penile implant....but in reading your various threads there are several alternatives......I was wondering if there was anyone who is in or has been in my boat......and could suggest an alternative.....
Although 80, I am more than active, usually am thought to be 60.....apart from A-Fib...for which I take 5mgm Coumadin daily......I am as fit as the proverbial lop.


I sure would appreciate any thoughts and advice.....for a very horny old man, privileged to have an extraordinarily sexy, attractisve young woman to squire about.

I think most people would advise you to try injections first. Some guys have great results. Good luck!

Your comment on getting hard the morning after makes me question several things.

First, How often do you take Viagra/Cialis? (I find if I take the pills daily {on the weekends for example} the results are accumulative.)
Second, Do you notice any difference between the pills? (For me Viagra 100mg is the strongest however it's effectiveness wears off quickest, 10-12 hours. Levitra is a comes in second strongest with slightly longer effectiveness 12-14 hours. Cialis is weakest but it's effectiveness last about 24 hours.)

Did your Uro suggest a Venous loss test or a Doppler Ultra Sound test? You may want to to get a second opinion.
I am not even suggesting your Doctor isn't good or correct. Just want you to have the best advice you can use to form
your decision. I used pills, Pumps and wanted the injections, however I failed those tests.
I also get testosterone via way of Testopel pellets. My T gets down around 250 before the injections
than it gets up around 700/750. I physically feel 200% better. I get those injections every 6 months.

I am now scheduled for my implant on 9/2/11 .
