In my case there is no way you can get a pubic bone measurement now because of the infrapubic tubing. The only way I can find my pubic bone now is to inflate as far as I can and put my fingers BETWEEN the tubing and pubic bone. I've mentioned here before prior to my surgery and since, you cannot measure with the standard tools infrapubicly unless the tools are modified or they pull your dick down between your legs which no doc has done in any infrapubic video I've watch. Milam said he buried tubing deep enough you would not find it. BULLS#IT! My wife can see it from across the room when pumped. There are several other studies that show about 1/2 cm on average shorter infrapubic and a slightly higher chance of floppy head. I must say my healing was fast and fantastic. NO swelling but even if it worked I would want it out due to the damned tubing. Your individual results may vary. Sideffects may include lost appetite, seeing UFOs, worshiping Himalayan goats and...........

Having had infrapubic now I can answer my own question from October 15th. The tubing is a major issue, pump placement is high and angled right, lost penis length due to the tubing. Healing was fast and no swelling. So far both revision opinions have been to do both. Infrapubic again to take this )*(&^ thing out and scrotal to reinstall a new implant.

Last time I spoke with my Uro, he said that with the intra-pubic method there is a small risk of damaging some nerve that will result in a complete loss of penile sensation. So better, not to take that risk.

I am wondering if I may have that damage because my penis is numb now along with all the other issues. I guess when this damned thing comes out I'll ask the doc to have a look.

Mine was done infra pubic because I have had a double hernia with mesh installed. By doing infra pubic it is easier and less invasive to place the reservoir. I have no complaints, everything works and looks great and I healed fast with little pain.

My doc said the only way he does implants is infrapubic, but I also have mesh from 4 hernia repairs and prostatectomy. Personally it would not matter to have a second incision to place the reservoir. I already have 13 scars on the front side of me anyway which are quite noticeable, especially when tanned and I advised him such. Smallest is about 1 1/4" up to about 4".

I had mine dione infrapubic 10 days ago and things are great. I ended up spending two nights in the hospital due to my MS only. Drove 500 miles on day two with little discomfort except in the prostate area. I even drove for five hours. I had two small bruises on the head of the penis and they were gone in five days. Some bruising around the incision and this was gone in eight days. Pump is in great position (bottom of sacrum) and I do not feel anything except slight discomfort in penis from extenders. Returned to the surgon seven days after surger, again 500 miles, driving the majority of the way and returning home the next day. The doctor spent whatever time my wife required learning to inflate and deflate the penis, This did not take long. The DR gave us what ever time was requires: questions and answers, his protocol to follow to the T, training. He stated sex in two weeks. The doctor was Dr Karpman out of Mountain View, California. I considerd going back East, but have been extremely happy I found Dr Karpman on the West coast. When I sent him an email requestion details about the surgery he returned my call that Sunday! He is such a detailed individual and one with great bed side manners and communication skills.

The penis length at this time is equal or slightly longer than pre surgery
