As to studies, I have participated in many studies in the last 30 years. Some were my own paid for by me and verified and published by the University of Missouri or University of Arkansas. I tried to make my results as accurate as possible including having outside sources from the field and university present to verify the results. Although every effort was made to record all aspects that could influence the outcome and all effort was made to make this as close to real life as possible, there are an unlimited number of factors that can influence a study that may not happen again, are unknown influences or affected by nature that may not occur if the same study is duplicated.
I have also been in a number of medical studies where I was one of the persons being tested or studied. Most of those I tend to question. The reason is the influence of those who finance the study. I am aware of study subjects who did certain actions to try to skew a study in a way that the outcome may provide a benefit to them in the future. I've read hundreds of studies over the years. I do not watch television, instead participate in forums, read medical journals, science journals, read legal cases, and read study trials. A common factor I find is the study most often favors those who finance it. Another common factor is that anything that seems out of character of the study or if it does not produce the desired result is rejected and the study is begun again. Too many studies leave out too much information and leave out too many variables that could cause a different outcome. Too many studies, especially now with fast tracking also fail to report issues in long term use in a large population.
As to the vacuum pumping before implantation. Eid suggested to one person recently that it would be a good idea for him. Everything is not one fits all and he as well as various other doctors have the good sense to know it. Kmeister, Eid has implanted AMS products. It is great to know you have a schlong long enough to play polo from a horse and both brands still allowed you to hit the ball. The issue Eid commented about is girth, not length. Yes, Coloplast has available longer models but the AMS implants are clearly more slender in girth as Dr. Ryback was kind enough to demonstrate. The LGX sample could not expand anywhere near as large of a diameter as the Coloplast and the coloplast reached that massive size with less effort and fewer pumps.
LGX 21cm .Milam 01/13/16. Horror; both service and surgical outcome. hated infrapubic installation. Kramer revision 03/01/17. 22cm Titan +1.5cm extender. Those who think their opinion is the only one that matters are a danger to themselves and others.
