I've been in touch with Dr Eid since the op. So far the cultures are negative but it will take a few days to know for sure. Even if it was positive, Eid irrigated the area thoroughly so It might not be an issue. He also told me that the weakness in my legs was due to the extensive duration of the surgery under anaesthesia. He said that I should be better in a couple of days. Sure enough I'm starting to get strength back in my legs today.

This morning I got a call from his office that he'll be popping by to see me in my hotel room. He came and took a good look and seemed fairly satisfied so far. The good news is that he thinks I can take the Catheter off in the morning and start having hot baths. That's music to my ears and I can't wait. Having a Catheter has been a bit uncomfortable so looking forward to tomorrow. So far I'm really pleased with Dr Eid. He's gone beyond the call of duty. I was quite anxious but he's been keeping an eye on me and I feel so much better knowing that he's only a phone call away.

That's a good point. With the post op recovery I haven't even thought about what the new dick looks like. I don't think I will have any size issues with a 24cm implant but will be interesting to see the new size is. The reservoir was also switched from right to left and I can't even feel the new one. The old one was botched and just placed on top of the muscle tissue and was totally visible as a massive bump in the pubic area. It was however very easy for it to be taken out according to Eid. The first implant quality was truly pathetic and I can only begin to appreciate what a good implant should feel like as I start to see the results of this one.

Mr Eid should know his way around Bentley now - he did as you know two visits to my room as well. I cannot agree more on what you say about him. He truly cares and goes beyond what he should have to do.
Agree the catheter was a pain in the ass (or in the dick), but the good thing was I could just stay in bed and didn't need to get up every time I needed a piss.
But it was a great feeling to get it removed. I didn't do it myself. I just went down to his office and had one of his nurses do it. And of course Eid himself took a look at the dick afterwards,

In terms of size, let me just repeat my story.
I was 16.5 cm on a good day with Viagra before surgery. 15.5 on a bad day.
Eid measured me to 16.0 day before surgery, on an injection based semi-erection and stretched.
I said I could achieve 16.5 on a good day, and he just said in his frank, direct way that '16.0 is what you have today, and 16.0 is what I promise you'll get after surgery. It might be slightly more, but I promise 16.0'.
When I started inflating the first few times (~2 weeks after surgery) I was only 15 cm inflated. Eid thought that was strange, and almost doubted my measurement. He just said I should be 16 cm, that's what I was when he measured me during surgery with implant inflated. But within a couple of weeks I was back to 16+. Today, depending on level of glans engorgement and arousal, I am between 15.5 (no arousal) and 16.7 (longest measurement so far with glans engorgement).
Regarding girth, it was massive when starting cycling 13 days post op. 0.5 cm bigger than pre-op. But that faded away as well with all the swelling going down. At one stage I was down to almost 1 cm thinner, and now it is back again to the 14 cm I had pre-op on a good day.
Eid's verdict over girth before surgery was that I'd for sure keep what I had, but that there was a fair chance of increasing it some. No guarantees though. He also told me upfront that the shape of the dick will be slightly different, it will be a bit flatter than before (i.e. not completely round). That has came true, my dick now is flatter. Especially if pumping it up without arousal, then it's really flat. But with arousal and spongiasum filling up with blood, it gets rounder, even though not completely round.
But an oval hard dick is better than a round limp dick. Simple.

I was getting a bit of bleeding yesterday in the urine and the Catheter was really starting to bug me. I couldn't sleep properly the last couple of days. On Dr Eid's advice I took it out this morning and felt great ever since. Then decided to have a hot bath for nearly an hour. After coming out I realised that I had a little bit of bleeding at the incision site. Not sure if this is normal but got me worried about infection again. I've contacted Dr Eid to see if this is something to worry about or not.

I've definitely been feeling a bit grumpy the last day or so. Perhaps a case of cabin fever. I'm glad that I'm allowed to move around today and don't have to be confined to bed all day. All this is all making me think how hard surgery is on the body. This is my third op overall to have the damn ED fixed. If this one was to go wrong, I don't think I've got anything left in the tank. However everything seems to be going well generally. I guess I'm just really anxious and worrying about absolutely everything.

The bleeding is nothing to worry about. I'm just being very cautious at the moment. Feeling quite tired, probably from a lack of sleep. It'll be interesting to get back to work next week. Worried about how I will hide the log pointing upwards
