My Doctor Says No Loss Of Length

My doctor has told me that there will be no loss of length and in fact my girth will increase. Why do so many men complain of loss of length. Anybody experience retention of length or increase??

I lost NO size at all on my first several implants. It depends on YOUR anatomy and the doctors skills. Your doctor may very well be correct.

I did lose size everytime after several implants though. I'm actually seeing some return of size with the 700LGX, but since I don't like being called a liar very much, I won't elaborate except to say that the marketing hype isn't hype for everyone.

I susspect I'm the exception rather than the rule. God is great!

Easier to install is interesting. I thought about this for a few minutes and can see why. AMS offers a model preasembled plus the antibiotic coating is pre applied. Coloplast has to be soaked in antibiotics.

Another possible reason is it's thinner.

That brings up the questions: Do some doctors prefer AMS because the want speed, are lazy, or lack the skill and inclination to assemble the product for a proper fit?

Probably yes.

Then is there the group who prefers one over the other because the kickback from the manufacturer is greater on one brand?

Probably yes.

For sure, the world is not a perfect place. So all surgeons are not saints with good skills and good experience of both brands who objectively and with the patient's best in mind will choose the implant best suited for each individual.
The reality is uglier than that. And we all know it.

I losted no length of penis and my doctor stated that measuring from the pubic bone is rediculous. How much length of the penis between the pubic bone and the outside layer of the skin is actually used? Just measure the length of the stretched penis from the outside of the skin. I had the AMS 700 lgx installed.

Sir- I certainly did not intend for you to think that I was not interested in your case. Our consultation took a long time and I must admit much of it could have been shortened by reducing the length of time taken in telling me how upset you were with every single doctor you've ever encountered thru all this. I just needed the CURRENT facts to understand the situation, not all that led up to it, Regardless I thought that since I had shown you that the device can work as designed and that it does not take 300 pumps to fill and that you had a well positioned pair of cylinders supporting the head of the penis that you would work with the device for a while and see if it was satisfactory to you and your wife. If not we could consider a revision to reposition the tubing and pump which also bothered you. But, truth be told there is no way that I know to recover your lost length and girth. I believe much of that change occurred after surgery where length loss is quite common. I'm sorry that you felt that it was not a good experience for you. I do wish you and your wife the best. These changes that happen to the penis after surgery and aging can be devastating to men, unfortunately there is only so much we can do. You should also know that I don't do email patient communication so this will be my last note of this sort to you.

Well Alibaba, not much wrong with that answer from an outsider's perspective.
And I must ask: He says he could show you that it doesn't take 300 pumps, and the implant works correctly etc. I also remember you said in a post that he actually did pump it hard and nice in a normal amounts of pumps. Did you ever replicate that at home? If not, then why not? Something wrong with your technique, doc was only lucky, doc used tools, grips etc which are not possible for you to use..?
Just trying to understand, your whole story sounds strange, to say the least. There is something strange when a doc can inflate you and you can't, don't you agree?

As I posted after that office visit, doc pumped it up the first try, then I did it on two tries, then for 2 days it would not pump, then intermittently from time to time. I maintained then and do now it was a fluke. What he showed me to do was no different than has been from day 1 other than the release after 3 second deflate which sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. Now it pumps more regularly but issues continue to develop. Now I cannot take the pain any longer than 1 1/2 to 2 minutes. Sometimes it self inflates, sometimes it locks out. Sometimes it will pump up in 15 pumps, sometimes it takes 45, sometimes the momentary squeeze will release, sometimes it has to be held the entire time, sometimes it pops then pumps, sometimes not, sometimes it pops, then pops again then will work after the 2 pop. sometimes it will pump a few hard squeezes and then the bulb turns to mush for 5 or so squeezes then starts pumping again. The other doc worked at it for 1 1/2 hours trying to get it to pump. Another doc gets to try it Monday. Will see how it works for him. He is a friend and would not do the implant but he has asked to check it out. There are getting to be more days that I say just fuck it. Wife asks me all the time if I have pumped it up. I do not know if it will be a 5-6 minute ordeal or 45 minutes. I cannot find out if this is a preassembled unit. Debris in valve has been suggested but it seems Vanderbilt keeps no records. It could have come either way. Pain wise this thing bothers me much more now than a week after the implant. Left bend is less when pumped now, still near 9 o'clock deflated, modeling makes no difference any more but now it has quite an upward curve. Wife asked me tonight if I thought intercourse is possible with the curve and I told her I do not know. I CANNOT bend it ( modeling ) to straighten out the up curve like I could the left curve. It gets to hurting enough I can't leave it pumped enough to find out. Still hurts 20 minutes after deflating. Last 3 attempts now the soft glans has just folded. It is now like an empty balloon. The tips will go about 1/3rd glans when pumped, are at the bottom flaccid. The upper 2/3rds of the glans just folds up over the top of the penis shaft cylinders I tried to get a picture but I have to hold it with my finger to show how it folds and I could not get a good angle to see anything but the 2 cylinder tips bulging under the skin on the bottom side below the glans. I'll try to take a picture again tonight. I think it is going to take an in office visit with Eid to find out what can and cannot be repaired. He has already stated he does not think he can get the size back. Very little if any. Skin on the shaft is still blue/purple but the glans has a little pink to it from time to time now. Oddly, if I sit to pee, the glans will turn to the normal color it always was. For several years when I would poop after the prostatectomy the dick would fill up and get fat. Not hard but almost. Now when I pee it has a slight similar effect. Milam refused to hear about that nor would Lavine. I think there is some blood flow issue that repositions when I sit and certain muscles do whatever they do. The only doctor who would listen about it said the destruction from the prostatectomy was considerable. I have CT and MRI scans on CD's.

This is just after pumping it hard. It actually gets more floppy further down to where the whole thing folds if I try to jack off or have sex with it. Not the best picture but the best of the lot.

The bend was back when I took the glans picture this morning too. Skin is still discolored on 3/4 of the penis. Dermatologist says he has no idea why but it is "very concerning". Asked me to return in 60 days to see if it has improved.
