If I remember right, Eid always kept telling me fever was the major sign. Tenderness is a natural part of the process and doesn't need to mean anything.
I felt feverish on and off in the early days and had slightly increased temperature, 37-37.5, but I turned out ok.

All the odds are still on your side.

Yes I was thinking about that too. I don't have a fever and during the day I don't have a temperature and actually feel great generally. Yesterday I was thinking that I felt good enough to do a workout in the gym. My strength is a lot better this time, comparing to the first surgery. Of course I won't even think about lifting for a full 6 weeks yet.

BTW I love the placement of the new reservoir, I can't feel it at all and it is a larger one as well. There is no visible bump like the previous one and practically no pain from day one. The first one hurt like hell the first 3 days.

As for tenderness, I think I was pushing & poking the glans too much to feel the tips, perhaps that aggravated it. I'll of course lay off from all of that and see if it feels better. Not in any pain as such.

9 months ago, nothing to do with ED or IPP, I had my first cortisone shot.
For a few weeks after that I had several Night Sweats, which I had NEVER had before. They eventually disappeared over the next few weeks.
Google told me that I was not the only one to get that reaction from such a shot.
i "MAY WELL" be wrong but memory tells me that the only people on here that I have seen reporting Night Sweats were you and Merrix.
Again only from memory, it seems as though Eid is the only one that uses "spinal 'anaesthesia".
I'm just putting 2 and 2 together to make 5 and wonder if the Night Sweats are related to reactions to the aneasthesia OR Anti-Biotics that he gives patients...

As I told merrix when he was having sweat issues that it is a common allergic response. I've had them and do others. The body is trying to respond to something new while it tries to figure out if it is a threat or not. I am sure they will resolve in time. Certain antibiotics can trigger similar responses. A temperature increase, redness or fever in the implant area would be better indicator or concern. Sweats by an allergic response can be accompanied by white blood cell increases too. Still not always a sign of infection. Your body is still getting used to the invasion of a new product. Even a mild increase in temperature to 99+ degrees usually does not mean much. Swelling in your dick and balls creates heat. Anything that makes your balls hot makes your whole body sweat for some reason. Think using a laptop with a hot running Intel processor. Heats the shit out of your balls, and makes you sweat when your balls are all that is getting hot and the rest of the room is cool. .

Alibaba, you might be on to something. I've been occasionally going to bed and placing a heat pad around the genital area, as a substitute for a bath (as I don't always have access to a bath). When I was in the Bentley Hotel I had night sweats one night but that's when the air conditioning was broken. I think the excess heat may have contributed to me feeling hot & sweaty.

I have been feeling less hot & sweaty during the night, possibly because I'm healing. The antibiotics may also have something to do with as well.

Oh and bit of a size update. With all the folds and kinks, super-deflated and probably swollen, it's currently between 4.25 - 4.5" and that is not bone pressed. I'm not worried about it as there is quite a bit of healing left and cycling is going to be key. I'm not looking forward to all that pain of stretching out but as they say "no pain no gain". I'm hopeful to start cycling in about 6 days, after the sutures removal. It will be crunch time soon ... Yikes!

I would not worry. One thing about our bodies, when there is something to worry about, it lets you know. Heal well! Tell your wife she might start practicing with a sweet potato. That thing is going to be so huge and work so well she might need some loosening up to prepare... :o
Heat increases circulation which helps carry off the fluids that cause the swelling, brings in more oxygenated blood which helps with healing so heat is a good thing.

Don't worry too much. I know some people here have had really bad pain from inflating.
I didn't, at least not in the early days. I did develop some pain in the perineal area, but it was never bad enough to prevent me from enjoying sex. And it went away overnight at the 3-months mark.
I never felt any pain from 'width' stretching, only tip and/or rear end.
Maybe that tells me my dick has a relatively high girth to length ratio. Or, put in another way, a relatively low length to girth ratio. Prefer to express it in the former way though...

Just reading the forum with so many issues many of us are facing makes me think implants are a very risky business. I still have occasional doubts that something will again go wrong or infection might present itself. However so far everything seems to be on track and no major issues. Sometimes glans feel a little sore upon waking up but maybe they engorge during sleep or something. No issue during the day. Could be a hormonal thing as Merrix had mentioned once.

Eid said to start inflating when I can feel the deflation 'footprint'. So far I can't seem to but I'm also worried about putting pressure on the stitches. Once they come out, I'll have a better idea. The worst thing Eid said is that I inflate and then can't deflate, given that I'm far away from him. A capsule will form on the collapsed reservoir and it won't expand again and will most likely require surgery to remove the scar tissue around the reservoir. Therefore I'm in no hurry until I'm 100% confident I can deflate. As the pump is behind the balls (last one was at the front) I'm having a hard time trying to conceptualise how I will be able to use it. I have quite a bit of learning ahead of me. Time to boot up the dvd from Eid.

If you remember, or look back in, my thread - I asked myself at about 7-10 days post op how the F I would ever be able to squeeze, or even feel, the deflate button. It felt like it was too hidden way up behind the balls, and everything was just swollen. I couldn't reach or feel anything.
I told Eid that this is never going to work.
He just laughed and said that yes, I am quite swollen, but just take it easy. Pump is perfectly placed, well hidden behind balls. Once swelling goes down you'll find the deflate button easily.
And he was right of course.
But had it easier than you, since I got activated while still in NY. It was even Eid who did my first inflation/deflation. And it hurt like hell. Not the cylinder swelling in the dick, but in scrotum when pressing bulb and deflate button.
He was rough and hard, and just told me to bear through.
Next day I did it myself and it was not much of an issue anymore. Barrier was broken.

Good luck.
