United Healthcare

Postby dirtman1993 » Mon May 02, 2016 11:45 am

If the United Health Care is medical assistance, we (University of Maryland-Dr. Kramer) were dropped by UHC early this year. If it is through his employer, we do take it. However if patient has an out of state HMO, we are not going to be in network with an out of state HMO.

The patient that this pertained to lives in Missouri and not sure if the pertains to other states. be sure to always check and it the case, raise hell with United. I had them once an they were very good. Now I'm not so sure after learning this. If they do not work with one of the best in this field, what next?

Good luck to all that have United Healthcare.
Implanted March 2nd by Dr. Kramer with AMS/LGX. Had a problem lower left (scar tissue) and he placed a larger (thicker) implant as you can here on the YouTube video. Got all back, ED over 10 years before Implant.

That makes it more confusing. I have a privately paid for plan. I've always been self employed. Talking to Connie on the phone she told me "Dr. Kramer is not a preferred provider for United Healthcare and likely will not be." This is not an AFCA plan. I do not understand "medical assistance". Then there is the issue, I had surgery in Tennessee and they paid w/o me being stuck with a $5900 penalty and the additional 20% of the billed amount. I think she made it very clear to me on the phone that their entire system is an "out of network provider" and not going to be a provider any time in the future.
LGX 21cm .Milam 01/13/16. Horror; both service and surgical outcome. hated infrapubic installation. Kramer revision 03/01/17. 22cm Titan +1.5cm extender. Those who think their opinion is the only one that matters are a danger to themselves and others.
