Going through brain damage about underwear

Postby charlesr » Mon May 16, 2016 1:01 pm

Okay; here's a complaint that you may not hear every day. My problem is that I have probably dropped over 150 bucks trying to find the right kind of underwear that works with the thing. I've gone through porthole briefs, different types of bikinis, large pouch boxer-briefs and even commando. I finally arrived at cotton jockstraps, which seemed to work relatively well, as they allow for forward movement. But they don't work perfectly. I have now switched to plain ol' boxers, cotton and silk, which I thought was my final answer until I get the "YOUCH" when I sit down or change positions.

I have a Titan Touch implant, which always leaves the penis a little stiff (not that I'm complaining). My penis tends to want to point out at about 3:00-4:00 all of the time and in my pants they will point straight out since the boxers aren't constricting. But then, when you sit up or down or change positions a certain way the material pushes your penis in towards you and it can really hurt.

I should mention that when I try to point my penis straight up (I was thinking of getting those "Ballz Out" briefs) I get some weird creasing sensations that make me feel like I'm wrecking something. But when I point it down, I am subject to the penis finding its way back up to 3:00-4:00.

I'm open for suggestions. I don't want to spend another dime on underwear until I can get a good opinion from you guys. Thanks ahead of time.

I did the same as you. The dick straight up worked after I cut a hole for my balls to hang out and sewed a longer dick tube on top. worked quite well. I love my Andrew Christian Briefs of the hang free variety but they get my dick in a bunch after a bit but very very comfortable. I just notice when I take them off my dick is more crooked is the only issue but they do have more room than most and I do not have any adjust my junk or sit on my balls issue.
The last too weeks I have gone without any underwear because dick skin has been sore. Today I graduated back to a baby sock over it with a rubber band at the base to hold it on.
So much for "I love my implant so much because neither my girlfriend nor I can tell I have one".
I saw on ebay the other day underpants that had a sack for your balls and a tube like a sock for your dick. I think I did a search for jock at the time. All chinese underwear I bought had little ball sacks so I did not buy any. Maybe my luck but if what I bought in the the past is any indication, they do not have any balls over there, let alone 3.
This is a similar item. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Men-Soft-Penis- ... Swk5FU1LxD

John Sievers is the best as I also stick out straight and happy but needed room. Has pouch for balls and room to be firm. Have a nice bag of unused underwear for goodwill now. Here is link and these work well. Hope photo helps

Implanted March 2nd by Dr. Kramer with AMS/LGX. Had a problem lower left (scar tissue) and he placed a larger (thicker) implant as you can here on the YouTube video. Got all back, ED over 10 years before Implant.

Once I healed up I went back to my Pre-Op underwear. I have the AMS CX and it deflates almost like pre-op.

This is for a thread I started last year "What I Know Now: Pre-Op". If you search for the thread you will find other commented on their choices.

"What I Know Now: Pre-Op".......

Buy your underwear well before the OP.

BIKE jock straps run small on me, so whatever your waist size is get one size larger. BTW my BMI is less than 25 and I look liked the Pillsbury Doughboy with the first one I bought.

Bought two types of underwear others have recommended here on FT, both have pockets to keep you STRAIGHT UP. Both have extra stitching to hold your scrotum supported.

Amazon has a brand that has a cover over the glan, so once you get it straight up, it covers over the top. Post Op I did not like this, as it impeded me getting the little fella up right. They are 4 for $50.

International Jock has an upright tube and is open, you can grab the head and straighten it up. They are $25 each. They come Jockey style and short style, MY CHOICE.

I also put Jockey Shorts on with the Bike on top of them to keep every thing up against my body. In this position it decrease the bulge in front and I don't think it looks like I have a hard on.

You will want to keep it upright for two reasons: one, to keep it straight during healing and two, to keep the pump centered.

-------------------------------------------------------
As I said in the start of this, I don't use any of the above now. Have a drawer with size large underwear not being used, as it served its purpose. BTW Will donate it to anyone on FT for the cost of shipping, send me a PM.

Charles - I definitely understad your problem. I had the same issue in early days, i.e. the first two months when my 'flaccid' was pointing above 4:00.
I don't know how long time ago you had your surgery, but I'd say your problem is not really the underwear. Your problem is the angle. if you are just a few weeks/months out from surgery, you should expect your flaccid to go down and the problem is solved.
if you are several months out from surgery, and the flaccid still points at 3:00-4:00, I think you should talk to your doctor. Either you are not deflating properly, or he's made some sort of mistake.
Having a dick pointing straight out 24 hours per day is not ok, and I don't think it is normal even for us bionic men.

My dick, did as I said, use to point at 3:30 (!) when 'deflated' (hadn't learned how to deflate completely at that time) right after activation two weeks after surgery. Took several weeks from there till it hanged down nicely at 5:00. One reason, except for learning how to deflate totally, was also the material itself in the Titan cylinders. it is hard and stiff and needs to loosen up a bit. This takes a few weeks or even months.

Good luck.

Had the same issues
John Silvers were the most comfortable to start with now I wear boxers
The jet brief also worked well to start kept the head from getting chaffed
I also switched to carpenter jeans more room in the crotch
After the 1st few months flaccid gets a little more normal hangs a little more normal
It will never be the same as before but becomes the new norm
Good luck
Titan OTR March 9th 2015 at age 48
