Lying About My Implant

Postby Vagabond127 » Sun Sep 11, 2016 3:17 pm

Once I get my implant I plan on lying IN THE BEGINNING about WHY I got my implant. There are a lot of things I can say. Are there any guys out there who do/did this? If so what excuses did you make?

THANKS!!

Why indeed. Maybe you could say you're auditioning for porn and have to be up for repeated takes?

I had to fend off the office busybodies who make it their mission to invade others privacy...

I simply told them it was surgery for a recurrent hernia...

That seemed to satisfy their inappropriate nosiness...

But denied me the opportunity of seeing their expression if I had told them it was surgery to give me a bionic cock...LOL

Vagabond

My wife of 28 years knows about the implant surgery...heck, she drove me to the hospital and was there for me during the recovery...wives are like that I guess...!

Now, even if I were single, I am not sure if I could hide the pump in my scrotum, as it sits very low and is much lower than my right and left testicles...it is obvious as it is visually noticeable.

As for feel, it is like a hard "egg" and in no way could be mistaken for a soft testicle...the first time with a new gf would result in a "what is this in your ball-sack" question...!!!

Others may have a different set up for their pump, but my AMS 700 LGX pump can't be hidden from sight or by feel.

I simply told people that I don't share my medical information with anyone except family/doctors. I had one or two persist and I got blunt about it (as in "That's none of your damned business"). No one questioned me afterwards. I'm of a rather large stature, and people accuse me of looking mean. So when I respond in a firm manner it's taken rather serious. The warning about them not minding MY business then became the scuttlebutt and the original question was never mentioned again.

I see no reason to lie or to share the information with co-workers or causal acquaintances.

I told people casually that this another surgery related to my cancer surgery (which it really was....). Closer friends know the whole truth....

I have told friends and family that my Implant was due to a sports injury which slowed blood flow and prevented any erection. Found this during the surgery and surprised as it was getting worse as I aged. Everyone I have spoken with was very interested and some wanted more information as to how it works. Many women wish their husbands would have this surgery but they refuse (husband) to admit anything is wrong.

Be proud you have taken this step to fix what was broken. You fix a heart valve so what is the difference? Get over it guys and be proud you can get an erections again and enjoy using.
Implanted March 2nd by Dr. Kramer with AMS/LGX. Had a problem lower left (scar tissue) and he placed a larger (thicker) implant as you can here on the YouTube video. Got all back, ED over 10 years before Implant.

This was about a year post op. I was checking in to see my pain Dr. for my bad back condition and one of the questions this sweet you lady asked was if there were any changes in my medical condition. I asked like what and she replied sergeries or illness'. I said yes I had a surgery. She asked what for. My reply was do you want to know the truth or what I tell my friends? She looked at me with a smile and stammered the truth I guess. So I told her I had a penile implant. She laughed and typed something into her computer. I don't know what it was because I could not see the screen.
When the Dr. came in and opened the computer screen and started reading it was obvious when she came to the part about the implant. She said OOOKKK. End of conversation....about that anyway. The rest of my discussion was normal.

My next experience was when I changed Dr's. My old Dr. retired and I was temporarily assigned to a lady Dr. I had and have no problem with that. I doubted that I had anything she had not seem before. Or do I. I had told her and it was also in my history that she had in front of her that I had had the implant. As she was new to me I had a complete physical. Including a hernia check. When she pulled my drawers down she said when she saw the lump in my scrotum. She asked is that what that is? Told her yes and she said I don't think I have ever seen on of these before. Subject never came up again.

For family and close friends I tell them it's for a hernia repair. That did kind of back fire on me one time. Our son came home to spend a couple days with us. We were not home when he got there. All of our kids know where the key to the front door is hidden so he let himself in to wait for us. There was a envelope with my surgeons office on my desk and he saw it. He never said anything to me but did ask his mother what I was seeing a urologist for. She told him it was for a hernia repair that involved something to do with my bladder. He apparently accepted that or just let is pass from there. Never came up again.
