I had Fibrosis that the doctor found one one side which restricted the normal blood flow.I was hurt a number of times playing football but never realized what could happen later. Use to be hard enough to have sex but as years came it was getting worse till nothing. After surgery for the implant I have good blood flow to the shaft and head swells as it use to. With the implant back to normal but harder.

Fibrosis is the formation of excess fibrous connective tissue in an organ or tissue in a reparative or reactive process. This can be a reactive, benign, or pathological state. In response to injury, this is called scarring, and if fibrosis arises from a single cell line, this is called a fibroma.

I've run the gamut of treatments, the latest being injections that quit working. I am sedentary and I asked my doctor if exercise would fix my ED. He said that exercise is healthy, but when you've had high blood pressure this long and have been on high blood pressure meds this long, exercise would not be enough. Evidently high BP is a leading cause of ED. I have my implant surgery scheduled with Dr. Kramer.

I think I can understand the reason behind wanting to know the cause of one's ED, even after knowing that it won't matter (beyond the slim hope of being able to restore functionality without needing pills, pumps, injections, etc.)

It has to do with guilt.

Am I like this because of something I did? Or am I like this because of bad luck?

If it's just bad luck, maybe I can let go of some of this guilt.

That's the reasoning, anyway, however subconscious.
