Went to see Dr. McCammon yesterday - I'll be five weeks out from surgery tomorrow. While he was happy with how things are looking, he wants to make SURE everything inside is nice and healed (had to split me open and use grafting material so lots of internal stitches and stuff going on) so hands off for three more weeks. I did show him some pics I had taken along the way and when he saw a few with the big black scab on the glans he said. .. "hmm . . I woulda been a little concerned if I'd seen that" - but it's healing as well . . .biggest problem is as the new "skin" is trying to form it keeps rubbing on any underwear I have on - annoying pain and slowing down the process . . I just need to go naked for a few days and give it a head start! Not sure folks at work would appreciate that! He noted that there is still swelling - especially in the scrotum where the pump is located - I can find the bulb easily but the top where the release valve is, not so much . . .
So that's it for now. . . updates as I get them.

Sounds like good news, Rick. For the rubbing/irritation you could try wearing a condom. But beware - I did this, and upon visiting the mens' room after a meeting with my boss I saw that the condom had fallen off -- somewhere.... I just hoped it wasn't in my boss's office

Good to hear from you Rick, last night the guys in chat were wondering how it went. Sounds like you are doing well for what you had to go through, and I think it's a good idea to wait a little for everything to heal up a little more. There'll be plenty of time to give it a workout later. As for the scrotal swelling, I know what you mean about trying to maneuver the pump around, especially to find the release valve, but that too will become A LOT easier in just a little while. So glad you're doing well, bud!

Seems like you are doing fine. I too had a big black scab, it is the result from the needle pulling the cylinders in place. 13 months post-op and am all healed up, however I can see a color change where the scab was. Sensitive was not affected.
