Would it help if there was a chart on the front page.
Showing penis size before implanted if known, the implant make and model , size of the implant and RTEs if used.
The flaccid length, girth and erect length after being implanted at week one, 3 months 6 months and then a year.
I think this would give people a good idea of what to expect.
Without having to look though loads of posts to find the information.
As its written a lot on here, that the Titan doesn't expand in length.
But I've seen members who are implanted with the Titan who say it does expand some in length.

You propose a good idea, but probably 'way beyond the scope of what could be done on any forum without someone willing to compile and organize the data.
I have noticed that many men do not even know the type or size of the implant they have, much less the number of rear tip extenders.
I have put in a lot of effort in the past two months looking through medical journals reading articles that address exactly what you have expressed. Such a database would be rich and ripe for a scholarly, peer-reviewed article and be HIGHLY valuable to the medical community as well as the patient community.
In short it is a GREAT idea. And an ambitious undertaking.
Also required to be included as variables would be
The pre-existence or non-existence of Peyronie's Disease
The length of time erectile function has been absent (particularly important to men with Prostatectomies)
Whether or not strecthing, "jelquing" or preoperational vacuum therapy had been applied and the degree of patient compliance
Degree of post-op inflation (some surgeons inflate little, some a lot)
Degree (frequency, extent and for how many weeks/months) of any post-op rehabilitation regimin.
There are a LOT of variables I have seen mentioned in the literature (e.g. Pseudo-capsule “coffin” effect: How to prevent penile retraction after implant of three-piece inflatable prosthesis readable at
https://www.researchgate.net/publicatio ... prosthesis
and in the forums, which provide anecdotal evidence and a LOT of food for thought about patient education.

ps Elsewhere on this forum are photos of an AMS CX implanted penis that lengthens from 3.235 to about 5.25+ inches. I did not think that possible, but have to believe the photo evidence (unless the patient got an LGX instead of the CX he thinks he has)
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=6712
Note that the flaccid measurement shows the zero end of the tape measure which clearly does not compress the flesh over the pubic bone (the standard way of measuring a penis) whilke the erect measurement does not show the zero end at all. Presumably there is no variance in measuring techniques, but even if there is, the 2"+ difference is remarkable for a CX which is not reputed to expand in length.

Re: Length - Coloplast vs AMS LGX
Just to hear from another Titan implantee, I DO have a difference in length between flaccid and erect sizes. Flaccid, I'm 3", inflated, I'm 5.25". It may not be the implant that increases in length, since the Titans do not lengthen like the LGX, but there is a difference. Additionally, in respect to the "unlimited" expansion of the Titan, what I was told is that the Titan would continue to expand in GIRTH throughout the life of the implant, but that it would not expand in length at all. The word "unlimited" was not used and makes it sound like you could eventually have girth like a beer can, which I don't think is the case.

Re: Length - Coloplast vs AMS LGX
I suppose that it could be that the implant itself does not lengthen, but your penis does. That is, the implant is set much deeper in your body than the front of the pubic bone where you can measure the length from the pubic bone to the tip of the penis. If the base of the implant moves (forward?) as the girth expands, it would move the whole apparatus. Thus the tip of the penis may move outward as measured from your pubic bone while the ENTIRE implant/penis assembly stays the same length.
Ultimately, the penis' length and girth is limited by the (rather inelastic) tunica albuginea (unless is it surgically lengthened)-witness the AMS Ultrex's tendency to form the "S" deformity.
But some of the rest of our anatomies are elastic and could allow some forward movement, hence what appears to be lengthening is actually just advancing/projection.
This is mostly speculation on my part. Anyone actually know?

Re: Length - Coloplast vs AMS LGX
For me, I regained all of my original length and gain a significent amount in girth. I have the LGX. I do pump it up about 4 or 5 times a week but not always for sex. More for therapy.

Re: Length - Coloplast vs AMS LGX
To put to rest some of the myths going around ... I'll show you the difference in the expansion in a CX model and a LGX model.
Notice that in the CX model, you have girth expansion only (look at the tape measure) where one cylinder is crimped off to show the expansion in the other cylinder.
Same method used to crimp one LGX cylinder ... while the other expands. Now see the difference in the length (see tape measure) it is possible to expand approx. 4 cm, and the girth expansion is the same as the CX model ...
AMS700 LGX and CX cylinder girths are 12mm, inflate to 18mm ...
Titan Implants use different girth cylinders according to cylinder lengths:
14cm & 16cm length = 17mm girth
18 cm length = 21mm girth
20 cm length = 21mm girth
22 cm to 28cm length = 22mm girth
Notice that in the CX model, you have girth expansion only (look at the tape measure) where one cylinder is crimped off to show the expansion in the other cylinder.

It looks more like 2 centimeters, just having a closer look at the ruler used. Odd ruler actually. It is in line with my experience however. After 16 or so months, I have not experienced any great permanent increase in actual penis length or girth with the lgx from before surgery with pretty frequent pumping. But, the lgx does behave more like a natural erection in that I do increase in length about the 2 or so centimeters shown in the pic and in girth. Like a natural erection, both length and girth decrease on deflation.

Bionic_by_AMS, thanks VERY much for the photos and descriptions. Very helpful.
I wonder if the rigidity of the erections in an implanted penis are due to the structure of the tunica albuginea (as they were when the erections were organic/ natural) or to the fabric of the implant's cylinders, or their combined tension over the pressure of the saline?

I think it has much more to do with the latter two, the material of the cylinders (Titan uses thicker, tougher materials) and the pressure of the saline. For me at least, my natural erections and those with Tri mix, while very good, were never as hard as they are now with a fully pumped up prosthesis.

I would love to be able to compare, with an objective measure, my erections at 17 years old with my erecrions at 67 years and then with my erections next year after an implant.
