If you have medicare and a supplamental most if not all is covered. Medicare covers 80%, the supplamental covers the remaining 20% depending on which one. The medicare advantage will depend on the carrier. And if your Dr. accepts them. At least thats my understanding. Will know more this Wednesday. That when my surgery is scheduled. My Dr.said it covers.

My implant was done at Vanderbilt 6 weeks ago. After surgery, I spent about 23 hours in the hospital. Vanderbilt submitted a bill for $62,500. Medicare paid less than that, and my supplement (Plan G), paid $1288, which I guess is what I would have to pay if I did not have the supplement. The doctor charged $2700, and my supplement picked up the $155 that Medicare did not pay. Bottom line- I do not expect to pay anything.
