First of all, I am not from an English speaking country.
I'm ask you to understand my clumsy expression and wrong grammar.
I had impotence since I was 18 years old.
I'm 21 now, Even Trimix does not work.
So the implants are being considered as a last resort
What I mostly worry about is women's persperctive.
Do women dislike man who has penile implants?
or Can I hide the fact that I have implants?
Your country and our country's culture is very different, but there is no place to share opinion about these implants on our country's website.
I am especially curious about the opinions of younger 20s.
Thank you

Re: A young man considering an implant
Hi,
Sorry to hear that you are having problems at such a young age. I have struggled all my life with ED because of a venous leak. I've done about everything, surgery to tie of veins in my 20's, pills from mid 30's and injections.
Firstly I assume if you are using Trimix that you have seen a doctor and been diagnosed with an underlying condition ? If you have and everything has failed I urge you to seriously look into the implant. Please read all the excellent journals on this site which I know will give you much comfort.
I have struggled without taking this step into my 40's and my mental health has suffered as a result. I too am now looking at the implant finally.
Good luck to you.

42 years old, Venous leak all my life. Pills worked but not so much then I foolishly did Scerothreapy (See young guys thread). Now totally impotent and just want an implant to stop me from completely crazy.
Re: A young man considering an implant
Satisfaction rates with implants are very high. But, they don't last a lifetime. An implant is a mechanical device that will eventually fail and have to be replaced. But, it CAN be replaced.
Estimates of the duration of an implant are 10-15 years. I read where one doctor said it will last 20 years if used once a week. I've heard estimates as low as 5-8 years, so the opinions on this really vary.
If an implant is your only option, then it's your only option. I would do it if I were in that situation Best of luck to you in your decision and your journey.

Re: A young man considering an implant
Women like or dislike you.... Not your dick..... At the age of 62, I faced a "lifetime of no more fucking" and went for the implant. First doc bungled the job but it worked... I could fuck again! A revision a year later and all works well. At your age, go for it! Choose your surgeon well....... Good luck!

I had ED since I was a teenager as well.
I am not in my 20s, but you will be surprised to see how young you will feel when you are 42, and I can guarantee you that my sex life is anything but boring...
Let me say this:
An implant is definitely something you should consider if nothing else works.
But listening to many people here, many being 20 or 30 tears older than me, you will often get the advice of 'just do it', 'satisfaction rates are very high', 'women don't even notice I have an implant' etc.
That may be true in their world, but it may not necessarily be true in your world.
An implant erection is not the same thing as a natural erection. That is just the way it is. I would say it feels very close to a natural erection - if you have blood flow to your glans. But it is not exactly the same.
You will miss the great feeling of just being able to go in seconds. You must pump it up and that will always take you about 1-2 minutes.
Women will notice your implant. If you turn the lights off, get under the quilt, kiss each other, and then you get going in a missionary, then she will probably not notice. But if you have more adventurous sex, the way even men my age (!) do, then she will notice something is in your scrotum.
For sure, I think it will be a bit awkward for you when your partners notice the implant. Be prepared for that. Probably a 20-year old girl will also find it pretty awkward. ED problems are not so common in her world...
You will need many, many revisions through the years. You are probably planning on using the implant frequently and vigorously, so don't expect more than 10 years life time of each implant. So you are maybe looking at 5-7 revision surgeries.
But despite all of this, what's a better option? Bring your needles or your vacuum pump to the night club in a man's bag to be prepared if you would get lucky? Don't think so. If pills work, that's the best option, stay on them as long as they give you satisfactory results. But once they don't work well anymore, then I really think the implant is the best option.
But the statement 'satisfaction rates are high' don't really mean much to me. I would say a lot of people get less than perfect results as well. And they still might be 'satisfied'. Some even get totally disastrous results. And remember that what some (often much older than you) men would call 'satisfactory results' may not be what you would call satisfactory.
So think very careful about this. Don't rush in to it. Learn all you can. Read articles in medical journals, watch videos on youtube, read all you can here on FT. This is a huge thing and you should know as much as possible what you get yourself into.
And if you decide to go for it, the most important thing is to choose a very experienced surgeon.
Good Luck.

Thanks for the answer
I do not have a surgery right now.

Thank you everyone

Re: A young man considering an implant
Hey Merrix,
Did Eid tell you what the cost of re-implanting would be after the initial one fails? I know the implants come with a life-time waranty (whatever that means), but surely that doesn't mean each replacement is free.

Titan OTR. Dr. Hakky - successful surgery and very happy with outcome.
My advice: choose a world-class surgeon and make yourself the healthiest you can.

Re: A young man considering an implant
One thing is universal. Women love hard dick. One that does not work does not suit you or her. I am sorry you have to deal with this so young and your english is fine. Ask many questions of your surgeon. Try to get the best you can get. A new car that has to be pushed down the road is unacceptable. A smaller dick that is useless is too. Demand the doctor puts your wishes first instead of the cash an implant generates. A doctor who takes pride in his work will serve you well. If he refuses to answer questions or address your issues move on. Wish I did. Be well sir and good luck to you!
LGX 21cm .Milam 01/13/16. Horror; both service and surgical outcome. hated infrapubic installation. Kramer revision 03/01/17. 22cm Titan +1.5cm extender. Those who think their opinion is the only one that matters are a danger to themselves and others.
