Friday, Nov 25th is my 4th week post op date. I understand that I need to get pumping to preserve what I have between my legs. I have a few questions, a comment or two, and then need some advice.
To begin, I have been surprised as to how the cylinders in the penis have taken position. The tips of the cylinders (the hard part) seem to not want to house themselves under the penis head. I was informed that all of that will correct itself once pumping starts. Is this the case? It took until this last week to find the subtle release button on the pump, which I needed to find before I begin pumping. But the pump bulb is hard as a rock until I break through, but even then, it seems harder to pump just to get a bit of fluid in the cylinders. I'll be exhausted once I'm up and ready to play. I did sense a gurgling as the pump was filling with fluid, a good sign, I hope. Right?
So tonight, in the tub of hot water, I decided to see if I could pump just a bit, and I could, but then there was this dull ache in my shaft, which I suspect is why I have been told to take medication prior to getting into the water and do the pumping.
And about the flaccid state. I am always semi hard with an obvious bulge in my pants. Am I going to be in a semi-erect state from now on, cause I seem to be able to deflate only to a certain point. I have always been a grower, thank you. But now I am going to have to wear black or find a way to deal with being a shower at the outset. Any guys who are signfnicantly endowed, could please advise me--guys who enjoy showing off and those of you who are not as comfortable showing your jewels.
I was at my normal restaurant last week and a friend motioned for me to join his group to chat. As I got up to move to his table, I caught his eyes head straight for my crotch. Now if it were not a friend and there was mutual attraction, I wouldn't have minded, but this guy is a smart, nice guy and a friend which bothered me. Of course I acted as if I didn't notice, but I was not comfortable with that experience. Any advice? Should I just relish it, if I can, or will this too eventually settle down and perhaps even I won't notice. Hard to believe!
Friday's the day, come hell or high water---It's Pump day. Will I be in much pain and what is the normal process? Pump up every day? 10-15 minutes and increase the time? Please advise.
Finally, what is the longest time any of you have maintained your erection? Was it by choice and was that safe to do? Or are there no limits as to how long I can remain erect? More advice please. Thanks

Re: Time to Pump first time
Happy Thanksgiving jpr042,
Friday will be a day you will never forget! Please check our individually 'implant journeys' and you'll know what to expect. Each Dr. has their protocol on cycling. Your incredible 'journey' is just beginning! Welcome to the exclusive 'brotherhood of bionic dicks'. Keep us posted. I suggest starting your own thread. We will gladly answer ALL questions.
Relish it. My new flaccid is 5.5 was 4 (on a good day)
Pumping is different. How often. (me daily with morning coffee)
Some leave it pumped ( a little). Others keep a raging boner for hours (guilty )
Welcome to the bionic brotherhood,
Donnie

My pump bulb is inconsistent, sometimes hard to start with and that has just been lately. I think that indicates it's really pumping fluid. If it were too easy it might not be doing its job. I get a gurgling when I deflate only.
I was a grower too. In a flaccid state it's not as much of a turtle as before but it's not obtrusive. It is hard because there are cylinders in there. Now, my penis is not large, but I don't think I'd bulge too badly even if I were. A good question is "Is it pointing downward while flaccid." To me, that would be important.
The doctor who did my activation said to hold the deflate button in while squeezing the fluid out of the penis. What I had read was that this is just an option. Supposedly you pinch the button for 4 seconds and then it all auto-deflates. But, I'm doind what he said, and this makes sure the cylinders empty. It has take some practice to do this though.
I took a pain pill when I went to activation at the doctor's office. I wouldn't have had to. Once I got home and started inflating it really isn't bad. The first six months with an LGX you are getting length back and are stretching the penis when you inflate so I've had just a bit of discomfort while inflated, but it's quite tolerable and I can even use my erection successfully. My doctor is fine with me inflating twice a day for 15 minutes. He even said 5-10 minutes was ok. To him the important thing is to inflate, wait a couple minutes and inflate some more if you can. This will help get maximum length.
I haven't ever heard there is a maximum erection time. Some guys pump and leave it up an hour every morning and every night.
All of these questions would be good to ask your doctor. Good luck.

Re: Time to Pump first time
Well, I often feel eyes on my crotch, have a Titan, the dick is now 6,5" long, received the implant in August 2015. The stare isn't comfortable but what can I do? Can't always hide it, on the other hand, women don't mind looking at a biggish dick ... I wear mine down parallel to my right leg. One day I was sitting in a train, opposite me a young pretty girl. After a while I noticed that she hardly could control a smile or rather call it laughter. I wondered why she was in such a happy mood - till I noticed that big thing in my trousers. One could see the contour of the glands, just everything, I was quite embarrassed. Now in similar situations I cover it with a jacket etc.
I pump it up twice a day, in the morning and in the evening. Sometimes I leave it erect 1-2 hours, no problem whatsoever.

Do you guys really believe some random strangers give a hoot about what's in your pants??

Re: Time to Pump first time
Congrats on being released from Dr to start your activation, my surgery was 4 weeks ago... tomorrow , and im told not to "activate" yet until my 6th week, bummer, i also feel around during a hot bath to see how easy it is, to find things, (without looking) and it seems
that pump bulb, is pretty dang hard ..(as a rock) but than again, i havent really given it a good strong squeeze out of fear i might activate it... as it was said earlier, i guess each doctor has a different set of rules. .of when to begin the cycling.
im also concerned of how this hard squeezing is going to wear on my scrotal skin sack, and if i will start to get blistaring... i hope not,
i havent read anywhere of anyone having this complaint, but maybe it just hasnt been brought up...
i can feel my cylinder tip/extensions too.. but being i havent inflated yet, i cant tell if they are lodged in the right place or not...
i guess time will tell..
congrats and good luck

Yes, I do believe random strangers do give a hoot about what's in my pants, what weird hat I might wear or the condition of my shoes.
I don't expect random strangers to have any kind of investment in me or mine, but the truth is that people make judgements, and that girl will probably comment to her friends later on about the event.

Re: Time to Pump first time
Surprisingly, When you squeeze the pump you only feel the pump in your scrotum. I know our balls hurt if hit there or get squeezed. (Don't worry you won't squeeze your balls by mistake!) There must not be many nerves in the sack itself. I had infra-pubic and no pain at all squeezing the pump. I had absolutely no pain in pumping. Probably because Dr. kept me partially inflated for 4 maddening weeks!
