The operative word is 'gently'. That implant is made to last a long time. The pump will lower over time. Don't sweat it dude, 'everything gonna be allright'. 8-)

Thanks man you have calmed me down over all my concerns each time... I researched a thread by lunacynic under the subject... is this normal?... OMG was that funny, but most importantly it described me to a T and it all worked out for him and it will for me as well

Rev. Donnie,

I'm not sure all implants lower over time. Mine doesn't seem to be lowering at all.

My pump did not lower till October 5th, then while pumping it made a pop and dropped lower near where I would like it. Still out front and the tubing last night was really sticking up bad but still a better position. Some days it still rides a little high but 10/5 lacked only 8 days being 10 months. Tie a brick to it.

im a little over 4 weeks, i have the AMS MS pump, with 4cm /3cm extentions, and my pump lays at the bottom of my sack,
dead"nuts" in the middle between my jewels, in fact it seems like its stuck there, like its grown attached to the inner skin of my sack,
but i read somewhere, that eventually, after doing alot of pumping, and deflating , that the pump will break loose from being attached to the inner skin, and hang loosely.. when i had my 3 week 1st time follow-up last week, my surgeon/urologist said, i dont need to do any pulling down, its right where it should be already... ( one less thing to think about i guess)

David,
my pump also has an adhesion to the bottom middle of the scrotum. It does cause me some discomfort in the left testicle. Wouldn't worry about it as it will come loose with massage which is what I'm doing.

i have an ams lgx installed infrapubically. after 3 months the pump still hangs high in the center and my right testicle is hung up above the pump. i've had, and continue to have, issues with adhesion, but contrary to some experiences here i think i actually have too much tubing. standing, the pump hangs horizonally with the bulb sticking out in front and the tubing sticking out in the rear. if i lay on my back the pump rests horizontally with the bulb sticking towards my penis and the tubing making a loop *below* it in the bottom of my scrotum. i've read accounts here of similar issues resolving completely over several months but i've spent 13 weeks tugging, squeezing, twisting, jiggling etc and i don't think anything is going to change.

Dude,
I've heard a small incision might fix that. Nothing compared to original surgery. Make the Dr. fix it. ;)

Donnie, What do you know about a small incision? Dr. Kramer has said to me in an email with a 5-minute procedure he could splice extension tubing on mine that hangs too high and get it lowered. He makes it sound like no big deal, but it it's another week in Baltimore that's a big deal to me at this time of year.

Jonbaldbg,
What I don't understand is if your doc says he knows how to fix your high pump in 5 minutes, then why the F didn't he spend those 5 minutes during your implant surgery to solve that problem instead of asking you to come back for a second surgery? I'd be pissed off. An experienced doc should know exactly where a pump needs to be not to cause issues.
You are not the first one on this forum who has left Baltimore with a high pump - and it surprises me considering the doc's reputation.
