As I have mentioned recently I was to see my Doc yesterday. We seem to have run out of options except for injections. All other preparations,Cialis,Muse etc have worked a little bit but to no practical purpose.
To date we have worked on the assumption that the RP has been the culprit and critically the only culprit in this sorry story. Prompted by my suggestion that Statins etc have a negative effect on erections it has been decided to look at other medications I take plus the fact that I am also type 2 diabetic.
Being diabetic does not help, taking Citalopram does not help,Simvastatin does not help,Amlodipine does not help and Perendopril does not help. (The last two being for highish blood pressure) and if the truth were known being 70 is not exactly an advantage. Throw in RP and the present situation is not altogether surprising.
So the thrust of his argument is that whilst individually the foregoing medications are not a problem, collectively they probably are and are working against Cialis etc.
So,for a limited test period, with the exception of diabetes medication, I shall stop all others and monitor my own blood pressure at home. Clearly if this works alternative medications will have to be found - if they exist!
It may that if this works in part - I don't hold out for a 100% turnaround after RP - it may give Cialis etc a chance to work. That's the theory.
I don't assume for a second that this approach will work for the majority but IF it helps me it may just be worth considering by those on a similar regime.
I shall report on progress.

Re: A new way of looking at it.
Good for you! It seems to me this is exactly the right way to approach the issue. This is, more or less, the same thing my medical team did with me. At the end of the process, however, we all concurred that the overriding cause of my limp dick was my diabetes. I then started with Trimix injections (last November) and I have been happy, happy, happy ever since. Good luck! Ain't nothing like hard wood to make a hot fire!
