RTE-For the benefit of newbies
RTE-For the benefit of newbies
What is a RTE and function?
Retired. R.P. 2016. Bilateral nerve sparing surgery. Now use .15cc of Bimix twice weekly & anorgasmia, moderately incontinent. Wife no longer interested so go solo with Electro-stim using Erostek ET-312. Now am Type 2 diabetic.

RTE - Rear Tip Extender(s) - are used to adjust the length of implant cylinders to match the anatomy of the patient in case the standard cylinder lengths available are not ideal. From what I've read, many seem to believe that it's better to avoid using extenders unless absolutely necessary because they can affect the stability/rigidity of the implant.
Dave, 80, Maryland - Implant (Titan) 2008 by Dr. Andrew Kramer (failed Sept 2020) - never used due to a stroke that, among other things, ended my sex life.

RTEs also have an impact as to how far back the cylinder connection point is.
Further back I think may be less comfortable as its wider at this point.

Guys,
My AMS CX has 5.5cm in RTEs and my pump placement is awesome. I can totally deflate w no backfill. Are RTEs a good idea? Only time will tell. So far erection is 'boing' stiff but no hinge.

Donnie, what about the erection angle? Is your dick pointing upward, let's say to 2 o'clock?

On my back it's 2:00. Standing up it's 3:00. Just right for me and my wife. Good spring but no hinge.
