Considering implant

I am considering the implant. I just got silicone girth injections in October.

I had been using Viagra for over 2 years successfully. It just stopped working last week.

I used it after the injections a few times and it worked. I had the thought that maybe the silicone injections altered the anatomy in a way that made the Viagra not work, but this doesn't make sense since it worked a few times.

Today, I was prescribed Muse pellets (Alprostadil) and they did not work. They gave me a half chub not satisfactory for intercourse.

I think it's my only option and aside from worrying about permanently altering my anatomy, I'm worried about the loss of length that has been seen.

I am sure the cause of my ED is probably psychological, but I think it would take 10 psychiatrists 100 years to figure out that they couldn't help me.

If you decide the implant is for you, my advice is to get it sooner than later. Time is not your friend. Dr. Kramer in Baltimore is tops and highly recommended by me and many others here.

I also recommend my urologist, Dr. Marc Siegelbaum. He is with Chesapeake Urology and is the Chief of Urology at University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center in the Baltimore suburb of Towson. I had him as my urologist for a long time, and when I decided on an implant (after a radical prostatectomy), I found him to be well-experienced and highly-recommended. Anyone can ask any questions they would like.

And what happens when the implant goes bad in 15 years? Can I just get a new one?

ED does not get better with time, and bad things can happen while you're waiting. As one example, see my signature line

Yes, revisions are not uncommon.

I am 4 weeks into my Ambicor 2 piece implant. Activation is set for 12/14/16. I relied on my doctors advice on which implant was best for me, I suggest you do the same. Each man is different in which type of implant is best. I was told that the two piece would be best for me due to scarring after prior surgery. There are many reasons why a certain implant is best for you. I also believe that was the right decision or me. I was left partially inflated after surgery and if that is any measure of how hard this will be after inflating at activation, I am more than satisfied with the two piece. I can hang a towel on it now. Good luck in whatever you decide. But I believe you should go with your doctors recommendation.
