I disregarded the article "Cylinder Sizing: Less is More" originally because the pictures were not applicable but when you made me understand more about a “weak spot”, I believe this is what happened and I will need a replacement.

Feeling a bit guilty I haven’t been on the Forum for a while.
Been back to my Uro again with your ideas and to request an MRI. He now found that one of the cylinders was protruding further into the head than the other side!! Not sure how they are tethered but could that explain the big “snap” when it happened?
I just had the MRI and will get results next week on my situation with base and head.
The very bad side is, if there is any damage inside the head they cut around the head to repair and likely major damage to nerves in the area.
Really worried.

My dick isn't perfectly straight out. It points a tad to one side. The cylinders are about halfway into the head and my surgeon plus another high volume surgeon are both pleased with that. I'm not sure how far in yours is, but I'd want a second opinion if they are recommending surgery that may damage nerves. I hope this works out for you.

I read one other case last summer about a guy whose cylinder tip punctured through the end of the cavernosa capsule under the glans. The surgeon removed the cylinder, fashioned a cap out of goretex over the cylinder after removing it, then re-inserted the cylinder.The tissue healed into the gortex which reinforced it. There was no need to remove the glans cap. It also said that method was successful repairing puncture damage in initial implant surgery or where the urethra has been punctured in the end portion of the penis near the glans. I was researching revisions when I came across this. You might discuss this with your doc or maybe a second opinion. for the most part nerves have a known path. There is a way to tip the glans cap back and do repairs without damage but the extent of exposure needed can be an issue. Then there always is a concern about blood flow. If you do have a rupture of the capsule, I would suggest seeing a specialist in penile reconstruction. Two here have had that but I cannot recall names. One in the East, one in Washington State. There is a California specialist and one I am familiar with in St. Louis Missouri, Stephen Brandes. Those doctors know how to approach and do the least damage. .

Good post Alibaba! Indeed, going to a reconstructive surgeon would be a good call. The user ''rglassava'' went to one, recommended by Dr. Andrew Kramer himself and he had extensive work done on his penis, and it worked out excellent for him! The doctors name are on his thread and you may want to try to reach out to him and also read it thoroughly. Good luck and keep us updated!

pfracture, thanks for the name. I am horrible at remembering names, especially when tired. Odd I can meet you 1 time and never forget your face but it may take 50 times to remember your name. I cannot think of the name of the person who had peronies and a straightening with the implant in Washington but his had a graft and very good results. I definitely would check on pulling the cylinder out and fashioning a Gortex sock over the end and pulling it back in first before whacking the end of my dick off and sewing it back. Likely a simple 20 minute procedure instead of 3-4 hours. Don't create more issues to deal with whenever possible.

Don't forget I am in Australia! The only High Volume Uro who advertises is Dr Love (how appropriate).

Got results from my MRI today
Found a tear in the tip of one implant and saline is leaking into the cavernosa capsule that placed pressure on my knob causing pain.
Surprisingly, fluid has not leaked outside the capsule.
Booked in for a complete replacement in February.
URO recommended no inflation and no more fun till then!!
