Seems to me it would wear you out too fast. I suspect it's the inflate/deflate cycles that determine the amount of wear, not the length of time the implant remains inflated. I don't know how many cycles would correspond to 4 hours use per day - obviously 4 or 5 cycles per day would cause things to wear out a lot faster than two or three cycles per week.

Seriously, do you have that much stamina to ask? Was the nurse suggesting or had she received such service? I want whatever vitamins those people are taking.

On a serious note, I have fallen asleep and woke 3-4 hours with it still hard. Other times I thought I fell asleep with it hard but got up to pee with a plenty limp dick. Most times by 45 minutes the urethra hurts so much I deflate. I tend to think the 2 inflated tubes pinch it which theory I recently reinforced reading a study on fibrosis removal which outlined that fibrotic tissue removal should be concentrated toward the sides away from the urethra to prevent pressure on the urethra. Sorry about the digression.

For the first couple of years, I'd inflate at bed time and stay inflated all night. Now I only inflate at night if I'm "using it".... Usually use it 2 or 3 nights a week for a few minutes "solo" just before going to sleep. No discomfort and it's nice to feel it occasionally during the night.....

Your thread had my thinking so I did an experiment, took notes.
Last night I pumped mine up when I went to bed to "try" the 4 hour bit. To bed at 1:13a.m.,Pumped it 57 pumps hard. Woke again at 3:11 a.m. and it took 27 pumps to get it fully hard again, so 1) it leaks down over time, and 2) it never made it 4 hours. Peed sitting down and leaning forward so I could do it with the pumped up dick and went back to bed. Woke again at 5:18 and it took 31 pumps to get it fully hard again. Got comfortable and woke at 7:34 and it took 28 pumps to get it where I thought it was fully hard again. I rarely sleep in spurts longer than 2 hours at a time. Just the way my ball bounces.

I would say it leaks down over time and it will not do a 4 hour marathon without adjusting it from time to time unless the leak down is only a high pressure leak and at a certain lower level of pressure it does not leak down.

I know that some guys leave it partially inflated all the time (because it "looks better" in the locker room etc., they say). I have heard that this does not cause anything negative, but I'm not a doctor so this is just what I've heard.
