Just to be sure, I must ask, "What is meant by 'lengthen'?"

Lengthen when going from flaccid to erect?

Lengthen the erect length over time, in the months after implantation? (edit: Not over my natural length, but perhaps recovering lost length -from surgery, peyronies, long-term E.D. or other causes. Medical journals and anecdotal evidence do indicate that some restoration of length happens occasionally))

This is a fundamental characteristic about which there should be no confusion, but the context where I have seen this discussed (particulsrly with respect to the AMS LGX and Coloplast Titan, both now said to "lengthen") leaves me unsure if the term is being used in the same sense in all cases.

I've had a several implant urologists tell me that to assume the implant will stretch your dick over time is unrealistic, that it rarely happens but most often in young people with no peronies, plaque or long term ED of the few that do gain length. Told that 20% on a 5" penis ( 1") is extremely unrealistic. 1/4" to 1/2" at most is more realistic if there is any growth over time and even then to expect it to take 2-4 years daily pumping to do it. Grown in width is more realistic, especially in a Coloplast implant which material "expands uncontrol". AMS has what is called "controlled expansion" by it's design to keep it from expanding too much and bursting. An undersized implant gives the impression it grows when it is pumped up but realistically, if the implant were proper sized it would not grow at all. All doctors seem to have different views, some are real jerks and won't even discuss it but this is what I gathered from those who did.

It is my understanding that a proper implant lets you keep your length pre implant unless there are pre-existing conditions (peyronies, damage to penis). I don't think any 'stretch' you beyond your potential length. I lost nothing. If I'm mistaken, I'm confident I'll be corrected.

Theoretically, the LGX will restore length at 6 months and 20% more at one year. Theoretically.

This thread has no interest in making erections larger in any dimension.

What I want to know is which implant(s) can give the greatest REDUCTION in size when going from erect to flaccid, to get the most flexible and comfortable flaccid penis as possible.

I understand that any implant can give satisfactory erections, but "parking" myself unobtrusively in clothes, deploying for urination and natural appearance when naked is my interest in this thread.

I have an AMS 700CX. My (5.5X4.5) flaccid looks and hangs normal (no one can tell it's implanted) but is much larger than pre-surgery (3X3) as the implant stretches and fills it out. Impressive when naked and 'prints' under clothes. Enhancing underwear recommended for comfort. At a urinal, the implant makes it so stiff that it looks like a small semi-erection. Your testimony is exactly what I was looking for (but not hoping for). I am comfortable not being impressive while not "in use", but I guess that is a tradeoff to enable the "in use" part.

My surgeon at first recommended AMS LGX but hss suddenly switched, thinking to the Coloplast Titan. His explanation was that the Titan has unlimited expansion, but no other invitation of dialogue. I am a participatory patient and there is only one chance to get this right the first time. So, I am spending a lot of energy on my own research

Stiff enough for masturbating? How close to stiff enough for penetration (assuming she is fully ready) is that? I have, upon occasion, been able to continue coitus to completion at "half-staff", with sufficient care. (This is usually after giving my partner a few orgasms orally or manually until she requests being entered.) To be able to enter her without having to pause to pump up would be nice.
