That's interesting. The article lists more cons than pros for infra as compared with scrotal.

Last portion of article states they usually remove an infrapubic through another infrapubic, then reimplant it scrotally.
Dr. Kramer is quite good at removing infrapubic through the scrotal incision. Watch his videos. The simplicity he does it makes complete sense and is quick.
The increased risk of nerve damage is eliminated. I think my lack of feeling in my penis is nerve damage from surgery or pressure on them from that damned tubing.

Obviously I'm not a surgeon, but after reading up on both approaches/watching videos etc, it would seem to me from a logical perspective that a surgeon could get more precise measurements & better pump placement using the scrotal approach versus infrapubic. I think there are many skilled surgeons who swear by the infrapubic approach...Perito and others. But I have to say that if you visit Frank Talk on a regular basis, it would appear that most problems & subsequent revisions are connected to an initial infrapubic surgery versus scrotal. I mentioned this to Dr. Kramer-that the scrotal approach which he uses seems to be be a more logical/accurate way to install the prosthesis-and asked why a surgeon would do it any other way barring some medical indication to the contrary. He told me that the infrapubic approach is easier for the surgeon...

I had infra pubic and I lost nothing. No loss in length or sensitivity. Maybe I am one of the exceptions.
