I was implanted by Dr. Eid in May, 2016. I am a 6'2" 270 pound 66 year old NJ man who has diabetes and some Peyronies symptoms. I had been taking Viagra which worked most of the time but also failed sometimes and I hated the after effects of the headaches and nasal congestion. My wife and I visited Dr Eid in NY in April. He explained the entire procedure to us and was very forthcoming in answering our questions and setting our expectations. Very professional, friendly, patient and easy to talk to. Half way through our discussion he started a video for us to watch and left the room. A few minutes later he returned and asked me if I would like to see an actual result of his surgery. Apparently one of his patients was several weeks post-op in another exam room and was being inflated for the first time. The patient agreed to have Dr. Eid bring me in to see his result! The guy was also from NJ so we chatted about the procedure, recovery and result while he laid there with a raging erection. Nice guy!
Just as some of the other reviewers have mentioned the appointment included a cytoscopy and an ICP injection in my penis to determine the implant length. I had the operation several weeks later and I was surprised that I just walked out of the facility afterwards and my wife and I got into an Uber for the ride to NJ. The catheter was still in and strapped to a bag on my leg. The catheter remained in for three days and I was given instructions on how to remove it myself on the third day. I had several pain medicines prescribed and was given Dr Eid's cell phone number in case I had any questions or problems. I must admit that I am not good with PAIN, unlike my wife, I am a big baby when it comes to pain. Its actually a joke between my wife and all our doctors. The first day and night was painful even with the pills, so much so that I called him to ask if this was normal. He advised me to double the dose of pain meds (I was only taking one pill) and assured me the next day would be much better. He was right. The only remaining issue was the catheter, which was uncomfortable and needed to be drained frequently. Once that was removed it was FREEDOM! I took the hot baths as directed to reduce pain and promote healing. A couple weeks later I returned for my first deflation/inflation. At this point we recognized a problem that Dr Eid said was rare but sometimes happens. The pump had migrated too close to one of my testicles which meant that sometimes you squeeze the pump, but other times you squeeze the testicle which makes you jump a foot off the table. Dr Eid recommended giving my healing more time, as I still had swelling and the swelling sometimes is the cause of this, so we scheduled an appointment for several weeks out. When I returned and the problem persisted, so Dr Eid said he would have to surgically move the pump. The surgery was scheduled and he successfully moved the pump so that it could be inflated without pain. The 2nd operation was much easier and less painful. Once again in and out. The pump to inflate and the button to deflate are easily accessible and work pain free.
The end result is that I have a rock hard penis when I want one, could go all night if I must and have a much more noticeable "package" when flaccid.
If you need/want an implant and can get to NY I would unequivocally recommend Dr Eid and his professional and friendly staff.

Re: surgeon reviews
I am in SW Florida. I'd prefer to use Dr. Reed, but he doesn't take Medicare and I can't afford to pay him directly. Dr. Perito gets mixed reviews. Dr. Eid recommended I check with Dr. Gheiler, but it's as if he doesn't exist. I can't find him anywhere. SO, I will get a Coloplast Titan by Dr. Scott Caesar in Fort Myers, FL. tomorrow. He's a nice guy, and he has all the right answers, so I am hopeful. Just for information, I will be done in a surgery center under general anesthesia and then go home. I will get home visits by a nurse that afternoon, and for the next 5 days. I'll let everybody know how things work out.

I do love the flaccid of my AMS. Wishing you well.
LGX 21cm .Milam 01/13/16. Horror; both service and surgical outcome. hated infrapubic installation. Kramer revision 03/01/17. 22cm Titan +1.5cm extender. Those who think their opinion is the only one that matters are a danger to themselves and others.

Well, since I suppose this thread is about reviewing surgeons (the title of it kind of implies so), then I will have to step in and give, again, another point of view on your hero Mr. Kata.
I would say that any doc who puts 5.5 cm RTEs in a patient - without any clearly explained logical reason - is a complete fuckup of an implant doc. If 5.5 cm RTEs were good, then implants would be designed that way. There is basically never ever any reason to use more RTEs than the difference up to the next size of cylinders. Simple as that. If anybody thinks so, then please enlighten me and explain why.
Putting 5.5 cm RTEs on an implant means roughly half of it is fixed and half inflatable. Heck, then it barely qualifies for being an IPP. It is a hybrid between an IPP and a semi-rigid.
There are experts in the field who try their best to minimise the usage of RTEs. Kramer and Eid for example. It means either this guy knows something that Kramer and Eid don't know (hardly unlikely), or he just uses them due to the fact that it is easier to install an implant with plenty of RTEs, or he did a shitty job measuring the cavernosum, and compensated with a stack of RTEs, or he doesn't keep all sizes on stock before surgery, and has to do the best he can with whatever bits and pieces he has on his crappy stock.
In either case, it sucks. That's my opinion. Everybody is entitled to one, and anybody reading here must choose theirs.
Finally, good results is a complicated story made up of dozens of components. I don't say it is impossible for one individual to get good results with plenty of RTEs. Not in the short term at least.
But if we are reviewing surgeons, we shouldn't be concerned about judging by one case. n=1 is never a good way to start drawing conclusions...
We should consider what are the chances of this doc delivering great results again and again and again. And putting 5.5 cm RTEs in is not a good way to maximise those chances. That is my advice to anyone reading here and looking for a surgeon to put their dick in his hands.

Re: surgeon reviews
Guys, I had 23.5 cm of dick to fill and not all on the outside. My Surgeon had a complete selection of RTEs and implants. Did he stack them to secure my length? To give me 1.5 cm more in length (7 inch erection) Rest assured, I will ask him. You asked for a review and you got one. I said I was pleased and I am. Unlike other 'reviews' there were none and haven't been any problems since my surgery. Why shouldn't I have a high regard for my ''hero' unlike other reviews. Why should I, unlike you, trash him? I appreciate you warning others to avoid the 'hack' surgeons at all costs. Don't expect me to trash mine.
Time will tell gentlemen. Time will tell. If I have to get it fixed down the road, I'll get it fixed. Sex is fantastic, and often, absolutely no wobble or backfill, I refuse to dwell on what might have or should have been. Quit obsessing and guessing. Live in the moment. Accept what is and change what you can. Did I pick a good surgeon? Should I have 5.5 in RTEs?
Was infra pubic a good choice? Who knows? Are all outcomes the same? No. I buried a 9 year old son (cystic fibrosis). I'm a big boy (literally 5.5 flaccid ) and I can and will, with God's guidance and grace handle this and anything else. Thank you for your concern and counsel. End of line...(Tron)
