My first surgeon, a few weeks after botching my implant, went on vacation. At my next appointment, his assistant fully inflated me and could not deflate me. As I was already in near constant pain from the surgeon's general ineptitude, I was painfully erect for 7,10,12 days (I remember it as two weeks but, as it was 4 years ago, I question my own memory).... This was just one of many problems caused by poor choice of surgeon. All was eventually repaired by (My Hero) Dr Perito's revision..... I never worry about leaving it inflated too long and hardly notice until I start to get dressed. Even though small, gotta deflate to be comfortable in pants.....

I have been inflating mine 2-3 times per day for near a year. I tossed the sheet I had been keeping a tally of how many times I inflated it. I am a freak about keeping track of things, count everything. Finally convinced myself the other day that it was nuts to keep track of it so threw it and the calendar I had been posting notes in the fireplace. I was some over 890 inflations and averaging 48 pumps. Never less than 40 and the most is 70 since the pump has been working correctly. 890 divided by 52 weeks (sex 1 time per week as posted above) =17.12 years. Clearly the number of times you pump wears it out scenario is a tad off then or mine is past due ready to blow. All plastics deteriorate over time. I do believe time is also a factor. Wear that bitch out, at least then you will know when you replace it that it is time and you got all out of it you can. I think had I known that ED was going to consume so much of my life ahead of time, I would have taken a different course in life and screwed day and night. Cheers.
